I'll actually wait to see 2024's new planning for myself before I reserve judgement. Simbrief is integrated into many planes, including inibuilds default aircraft. I doubt Navigraph are panicking at all.

Yes, both of them do. It's just that you don't see it as clearly on the plane you are flying. It's a bit behind.

But it works like ATC chatter. You don`t interact with ATC due to FSHUD respond itself . In default ATC you have to ackowledge each command by pressing 1 button and here we don`t have to do it and what a shame there no option to choose if I want to respond myself or FSHUD do it for me. In FS2 Crew you have plenty of options what FO does or let you as captain to do some things youself. I hope to see this kind of improvment. Also voice that you can choose in FS2 Crew has many options and here it`s not to much. I own this but in some cases default ATC is just better.

Yes, this was my recommendation one year ago. Now, you have ATC apps like Sayintentions and BATC that will provide you with that ability, plus more. This feature may come in future updates to FSHud.

@@ZiggyAir All payware unfortunatelly. I will wait for V2 FSHUD so far it is usefull for learning purouses not for little experience VP. But I`ve found mod for default ATC that change phraelosogy for more realistic. There are file easy to edit and change a lot but can`t find tool or tip how to force def ATC to scroll down meesages everytime I open window and as I know it is broken since one of updates but will stick with default ATC anyway so far.

I tried the trial version today i loved in general the way it could do a vfr flight but i took off from kdca and the traffic was landing departing all different ways. So i ended up having to takeoff because couldnt get cleared. But i loved the way they responded to anything i said other than that one thing. The voices were absolutely stellar. Do they plan on controlling airplanes too?

Great. Sometimes it depends on when you created the flight plan and what weather app you are using. You can always ask ATC to get you clear for whatever runway you want. They will do that. If they don't do it the first time, ask again.

Sounds good! Is it unlimited use for the monthly fee? I tried it again from kcho to kcid on trial. It was able to tell me the weather at my destination mid flight which it didn't really have to then I did a go around and after it said fly the missed I asked for a downwind instead and it did that ok. One question does it talk to the other airplanes or is that all pre recorded? At kdca it seems like it was talking to them on this flight I was not so sure at kcid. It's not a huge deal as it sounds so real and before I had all voices turned off anyway they were very robotic. I will be purchasing those voices are amazing.

@@braneden Yes, you can fly as much as you want; it's unlimited use. So, with Sayintentions, you don't need to purchase additional voices. They vary them around, especially if you flying outside the US. At this point, non of the AI ATC services control other planes, unless someone else with sayintentions is flying in your area. This feature, called flight injection, is planned for later release and it will not be additional charges. The only ATC service that has flight injection is FSHud, but you have to use FSTL for it to work. Have fun.

No entiendo ia. Te refieres al tráfico aéreo? Ninguno, ni FSHud interactúa. Hay planes de injector el tráfico, pero esta todavía en planes. Yo he utilizado FSHud desde su principio. Puedes ver todos lo videos que he hecho.

@@MOTISHOW me refiero a injertar el tráfico. Si usas FSTL si lo controla, pero es un problema con los recursos de la computadora. Pero Fshud no interactúa contigo, solo por un menu predeterminado. es la diferencia. El nuevo release 1.3 va a traer muchas mejoras.

I am not sure why. It may depend on the version that you have. Did you create an account with them? On the top left, there is a pulldown menu. see what options you have there.

@@animaxima8302 This game/simulation was never intended to replace the real thing. There are situations that are similar, and the game captures them well. You can see videos from real pilots addressing these situations. The game is limited in many aspects. However, there are planes that come close to the real deal (all of the GA)

Dear Ziggy, I respect your view regarding Chat GP and also respect your good intentions towards the Simmers, but if we all focus on Chat GP then there will come a time when we no longer have to think at all and we abandon ourselves. We only rely on what the Computer (Chat GP) says and we no longer investigate ourselves and I think that is a bad thing and irresponsible. When I look at the number of thumbs up after 22 hours and zero responses in the comments, it indicates that thoughtful people are not looking forward to this, but I once again respect your integrity and good intentions with our wonderful hobby.

Seems like a dystopian comment. Do you use google? Do you use a performance calculator when you fly? This is just another tool to help your flying. I use this at work when I load 300 policies and procedures that we have. Have I read them all? Yes. Do I remember 20% of what they said? Just about, but I know what to ask to get the right answer. It's not unusual for my channel to get 200 views and one or no comments, so it really doesn't tell me what you think it does. Frankly, the problem that I see is that these tools charge a subscription fee. I don't see simmers paying more money in subscriptions; we have enough with buying planes and ATC services. However, if you can access it for free, it's a great tool.

Yes, BATC accent sound like an exaggerated Italian accent to me, which you will not likely hear in PR. SI American accent you will hear in PR, especially in the ATC service there.

You didn't really mention that BeyondATC is a partial early release as much/moreso in Alpha as SI and receiving almost daily updates including improving regional accent accuracy. I think both programs have value and I know the devs of each are good people who approve of each other's projects but your assessment seemed a little unbalanced to me, that's all.

The regional accent they implemented is wrong, and that was my point; no one there would speak in that exaggerated Italian accent, as the country is mostly Spanish speaking. I am sure you would have an issue if ATC had a heavy, exaggerated Chinese accent in the US. I have been using SI for far longer than BATC and they do regional accents, or you can set it in a variety of languages. BTW, you missed when I did point out that both are in early release (BATC) and pre-release beta (SI), but perhaps you needed that to support your claim of unbalanced review.

@@ZiggyAir Don't be so defensive. I upvoted your video and it is a worthy project, I just feel it gave some false impressions in the areas I mention. I'm not missing your point at all, you are missing mine. You were critical of BATC for using an incorrectly assigned accent (Which certainly didn't sound Italian to me) while having no criticism of SI for having no regional accents at all. That gives the false impression that SI has better voices for all flights. Not only that, if you read the patch notes on recent releases you would realise that BATC is constantly improving the basic voices and accent distribution etc but it will never be perfect. That is still better than just having American accent ATC everywhere you fly and every airline having the same accents. I'm not promoting one product over the other, that is just you rejecting criticism. Both are viable products and you made some good observations as to the differences such as how SI is adaptable while BATC is more on rails.

@Muckylittleme I am not being defensive. You made the comment that I didn't mention that BATC was in early release. I correctly pointed out that you didn't see the part where I said that. I don't know how many languages you speak, but that was a bad Italian accent. At best, it wasn't a Spanish accent. I would rather see no attempt at doing this, than a bad implementation. If you use SI, you can change the language and see that it does a great job with these. At the moment, you can't do that with BATC. At least not in the latest release that I have. They are making changes constantly and I am sure that it will get better.

Sayintentions is far better than BATC at this point, but it is also $30 every single month versus paying $30 one time for BATC. Sayintentions is way too expensive to justify a $30/month subscription. Just a note, Sayintentions has been updated and you can fly IFR now.

Great video! Yeah I have been using SayIntentions for about 2 months and lately have been trying FSHud. SayIntentions of course is way ahead in "potential and experience" but FSHud is surprisingly very immersing because of how they vector you in for ifr approaches. When SayIntentions get that part nailed down they will be hands down the winner (until BeyondATC comes out). For instance FSHud steps you down via the descent per flight plans with speed and flight levels. Right now SayIntentions just gives you the arrival and leave it up to you to descend properly. But if you have it all programmed correctly then managed descent will keep you where you need to be. Also FSHud vectors in perfectly via headings so you can catch the loc and put yourself on final for approach. With SayIntentions it gives you the headings but you kind of have to figure out when to make your turn to catch the loc. FSHud stays with you so you never have to guess. But still SayIntentions imho is the best for overall experience. Can't wait till they get the ifr arrivals nailed down. Edit: Also SayIntentions just leave you to taxi at your discretion but I'm sure that's under development. FSHud gives you very detailed taxi instructions all the way to your gate/parking.

It didn't say the wrong thing... you said the wrong altitude so it then subsequently told you to climb to the altitude you had stated 5500 instead of the 4500 you filed

I appreciate you watching and commenting. I did say at 2,700 for 5,500, which was incorrect as they cleared me for "at or below 4,500' early when giving me VFR following instructions. Then, after I said from 2,700 to 5,500, they cleared me for 5,500. They should have corrected me and told me to stay at or below 4,500. Thanks, and happy flying.

In the Sayintentions app, click on general and you will see SimBrief (Required for IFR) at the bottom. Type your SimBrief username under 'username'. That should do it. Happy flying and thanks for watching.

Hey Ziggy - Great Video! Thanks for showing off our ATC! Wanted to remark on competitors. At this time, we're still the only ATC platform using GPT4 and AI logic for dynamic responses and currently have zero competition in our category. All other planned ATC programs only use AI voice generation - nothing more. It's all still "On Rails". We see BATC as a great competitor to P2ATC and FSHud in that aspect and wish them them the best with their product!

BATC so far only has hyped videos. We can't evaluate how good or bad the program is. They only thing positive I have seen is that they changed that awful pricing structure, but no product in the hands of the people like we get with Sayintentions.
