Dogs are all descendants of wolves... so obviously they'll attack one another because they're territorial. Doesn't matter if it's not actually their place. Wolves start pack wars to protect their territory, same thing with dogs.

This dog park sucks because there’s no trees or something dogs can use as barriers they fenced off every single area with the trees so literally like a prison yard. Standing around too much helps invite fights when new dogs come in, there’s no natural escape or hiding for a moment.

Dog parks aren’t for all dogs one of my dogs for example love other dogs and loves going to the dog park loves to play fight but my other dog on the other hand gets nervous and reactive in those situations so we don’t bring the other one

This makes me anxious.would never got to a dog park with my dog. Overhyped dogs everywhere running around nervous, it doesn't look like a chill situation. The one guy also also brought his dogs toy into the dog park...are you insane!

I don't bother going to dog park much anymore. My dog has gotten attacked 3 - 4x by now by reactive dogs. No one abids by the rules of our dog park here in downtown Cary. Whats worse, they put a booze bar in the dog parks.

Sorry to hear that, a lot of us leave the park when the reactive dog shows up, my dogs love their park so I watch who is in it.

@@dzonevideo5785 yeah. I swear the downtown Cary dog park was created by an architect rather than an engineer. The fence is so short, if my dog wanted to, he could jump the fence. I avoid dog parks now and just go on longer walks.

@@Midnights_Undead Some dog parks have short fences. But if your dog is trying to get away each time, that means they don't like it. Walks are also perfect

@@Jay_Ryder996 It's not that. It's his breed. They can scale up 6, 7-foot fences. Do you know of a pitbull named Ace or HULK? Yeah, they can jump straight up a vertical 4-foot fence. To add to that, my dog is not reactive towards anything. Yet, he is the one who has now gotten attacked 4 times by other people and their dogs. My rule, NEVER TOUCH MY DOG for any reason.

@@Midnights_Undead Oh okay! I know DDK dogs. Some dogs can jump that high... What breed? It's surprising your dog jumps that high to get away and not to meet you, and still not reactive 😱 He should stay away for now so he doesn't cut himself against the fence while trying to escape.

it is the second time he has come in like that, and got the whole park stirred up. When his pittie is off leash she plays perfectly. He doesn't seem to trust her yet.

@@steven1739 it is not the number of dogs, we had 34 the other evening with no issues. However one male pit, not fixed with the wrong owner and things go sideways fast. Time to head home and live to play another day.
