One of the best internets ive had.....no joke........get 900mbps download speed on my series s,downloads big games in no time 😂 sack using any other provider ever again

i recently upgraded to 2gb with brsk. but i have no idea if they will send a new router or not. i have had 0 information. my account says im now on 2gb. but i dont have 2gb hardware. need to know if i have to buy it myself or not EDIT: can confirm they delivered a new router that can handle 2.5gb

@@stueyu it was around 980mb, they have since dropped off the new router. and now as of my last speed test i get 2100, when connected to the 2.5gb lan port. got a switch on the way to handle 2.5gb

@hexaspark thanks for the reply how are the wifi speeds with the new router? I'm currently on the 1gb speeds ethernet is fine but wifi speeds are intermittent between 200 and 500

@@stueyu thats going to come down to if its wifi6 or not. you will never get 2gb speeds on wifi

@JLK8 I have been getting 2GB sometimes 2.1GB. one of the things I discover most non-commercial equipment we use at home is maxed out at 1GB, so for testing, I upgraded my system to a 2.5GB system.

Yep they have just started in my area. Placed a telephone pole opposite my house which has completely put me off. The problem with my area, we get a lot of anti-social behaviour and if they see that cable, its coming down quicker that a prostitutes knickers in the Red Light District. Such a shame as Openreach used the ducts. Think someone forgot to inform Brsk that its 2024, not 1954!

Openreach still use poles. It's easier and they don't have to dig the road up to clear blockages. Overhead is miles better

They are trying to use those ugly poles by us. Nobody on the estate wants them but they keep trying. No brsk here. No poles here!

The same day they come the same day you get your Internet.....Make sure you choose a spot in the house that is central so you get a signal in all rooms

I'm trying desperately to get out my virgin media contract the Internet is awful due to over utilisation in the street cabinet, the sooner the better so I can try brysk who have just arrived in my street

Just a update to my original post,I did indeed get out of my virgin media contract, and got the last month I've had brsk,I couldn't be happier, the kids are big gamers, and the ping is a rock solid 6 which is fantastic, wifi is much better and price is a hell of a lot better, if your thinking of leaving virgin then do it, they have just announced yet another 8.8 percent rise,

Poles were the were never Poles making the place unsitly value of your home will go down for people who live on under ground Infrastructure estates just doing things on the cheep using Poles

Brsk just rolling out in my area. 500mbps for £23ppm. Or 900mbps for 30£. Very nice! I'm deciding which id prefer, 500mbps or 900.

900... It should be 1000. Virgin provides a guaranteed 1GBps (which I actually do receive as marketed).

Does the fibre cable that enters through the wall go directly into the rear of the ONT wall box or does it enter elsewhere ?
