[email protected]Hi,
This channel is about my hobby: building and flying a Cessna based simulator. I started building in January 2017. The simulator software I use is X-Plane 11. The simulator runs on a single computer with one graphics card. There are 5 monitors connected to this computer. The frontscreen (a 55 inch Samsung. TV), two side screens (both 32 inch), a USB-screen (Assus) for the main gauges and a small screen for both the Garmins. I also have two iPads connected via WiFi for the engine gauges.
To display the gauges I use AirManager. For the the Garmin I use the default Xplane 11 software. The avionics are completely homebuild and designed and printed by using a 3D printer. All buttons are connected to four Arduino Mega boards (which are very cheap) and run ArdSimX. The Saitek electronics have been replaced by better pots and are also connected to ArdSimX.
For ATC I am using Pilot2atc.
Thanks for watching and subscribing.
