As you walk it seem as if your sweeps are missing a lot of space in between.

@PP-ob8zr definitely not on the Equinox and Manticore machines. Even on the smaller coils they can detect off to the side and draw you into a potential target. Other machines may be restricted to the area only below the coil.

I found a part of a window also in a park. It's odd that something like that would be there. I like finding toy cars too.

im curious if you touch your coil cable will it sound off? i just purchased a new manticore and noticed this.

Do you have it wound close enough to the shaft while ON and detecting? You don't want it to be so tight that it's going to stretch the cable - but if the coil wire is slack and wiggling above the coil, it will be sensed by the top of the coil.

Why the 6 inch coil on a beach? If you stayed in park mode you wasted everyones time. No targets should be a clue you are doing something wrong. Low and slow is how you should be swinging.

Awesome! I just got permission to detect a 1920s house that I've been driving by for years... no one lives there. Owner was cleaning it up to rent. Gave him one of my permission cards and thought it would be cool to see what I could find and to send him pictures:) Stay tuned!

@@RockwithAj not sure where you're observing a deep hole. This was only about 4" deep in the back of his yard near his tomato garden. Heavy items sink due to rains and worms and roots.

Found some amazing coins, right where a friend of mine walked with his manticore, I with my Deus 1 😂. Every detector finds stuff, Manticore is good, but there are many good detectors out there. Can not imagine that the 800 will not pull out some of the shallow coins as some in this video.
