wow that takes some balls just going for it in the beginning when you dont know what you're doing. 😂 I learned this by approaching these very slowly to really get the technique and stance on the rail down. Like, I would try to stick the landing every time at one speed and then go a bit faster, stick it again and so on... I was scared shitless of falling the entire time and every time I would fall, the fall would set me back to the beginning due to even more fear, so I went very slowly so that I wouldn't fall at all. After literally weeks, I started feeling comfortable and was ready to hit it at speed. You're just going for it. 😂😂

2.24am from finland im not so good in doing rails "i can do normal tubes but not the thin metal rails" i think your jumping pretty high going on to the rails and need to build the courage to spread your feet and feel the balance point

Try skiing slower to the rail. And try to have your skis 90 grades to the left😁

Hey man best tip I was ever given was act like you are stepping up onto the rail instead of hopping onto it. It will help with your balance and getting your skis and weigh transfer where it needs to be

Go slower than you think you need to, will make the impact if you fall a lot less painful. Also, the only mistake you’re ever gonna make is sliding out while learning so alot of weight on that front leading leg, while still keeping your ski flat. I learned rails with the help of a buddy and that first tip to go slower on the approach is huge.
