He would have at least had a few more wins under his belt or at least a small chance of championship contention had he stuck it out with Red Bull. But that wasn't good enough for the honey badger, he ran from the fight with Verstappen and here lies the end of a lackluster career - an average driver in an average car with no where else to go.

😢😢😢😢 guys this is soooo not fair..dan is a quality driver..it’s his team that have failed to give him a decent competitive car..not his racing abilities..but yet he is effectively dumped…i hope their sakes their new driver is totally amazing and is consistent with lot and lots of points..whatever the session or race or weather or anything including even race beating his team mate as well by a substantial amount…..or this is going to look very shameful
