Uma grande pena que Elton John já esteja com 77 anos e que deixou de fazer shows mundo afora. Eu infelizmente nunca tive oportunidade de assistir a pelo menos um show. Moro em Recife Brasil e por aqui é meio difícil artistas da categoria de Elton John pôr os pés. O nordeste ainda é muito discriminado até pelos artistas de fora, muito embora algumas bandas por aqui fizeram shows. A-HA, Deep Purple, Bon Jovin se não me engano, Glória Gaynor entre outros. Tenho certeza que um show de Elton John na Arena Pernambuco daria mais de 50 mil pessoas entre gramado e arquibancadas. É isso aí.

As with so many others, I've followed EJ for over 50 years now. During his peak years, his voice was excellent, but i always felt that it wasn't made for the rasping rock numbers like Saturday Night, Street Kids, Feed Me, etc. It was always on the edge of being strained singing those tracks. His voice was far more suited to the ballads that he used to sing so brilliantly well. The Two Rooms tribute album, Bon Jovi covered Levon. Masterful. And that is the difference I'm talking about. However, how would it sound with Bon Jovi singing Sorry Seems To Be......? I imagine, nowhere near as good.
