Its a reason i call Hurricane Charley Andrew lil.brother.
@RobJonesHurricane20 сағат бұрын
Definitely smaller in size and intensity, but a powerhouse nonetheless. Even hurricane Andrew was a relatively compact hurricane for Dade County.
@Walter-xx6yp6 күн бұрын
This seemed more violent than hurricane Michael. This is the difference between category 4, down-burst winds of Charley, and category 5 , 20 meter winds of Michael. Down- burst Winds are far more destructive because there's less friction such as trees and buildings to blow on first.

Im lazy, I didnt remove any of those plastic panels. I just crawl under and voila its accessible(im lazy) I was able to reach those bolts, I just need to pry out the black plastic on those two botton bolt. I followed one of the guys comment how to put the column @drewmorg6446. Mine didnt have splines showing (on top part of the column) i still did how he says. Make sure the its on the lowest position, Loose all the bolts and i held it pushing up while tightening the top bolt(kind of hard to do but I did it) then the second bolt, then the lowest bolt(use extension, to make it easier) tighten it until snug. Took it for a test drive(75mph) no more rattle.

For those who underestimate the power of a hurricane. This is not even the worst. Another thing is they last 10 hours or more even up to 3 days of this. If your ever in a hurricane warning in Florida remember this video and remember what I said. It might save your life or at the very least save your mental health and a case of pdsd.

My daughter lives in Summerfield, near Ocala, where about is this town? I'm sure you are going to get pretty excited to see some pretty extreme weather!!!! I saw a helicopter, I think it could've been a private copter, can't remember, but he wanted to get up close & personal with an EF 4-5 tornado & the thing change positions & sucked him right into it. I'm sure there were no survivors as high up it was & on the outer part of the tornado. I've heard the center of it is really mellow & clear, am I right?? Good luck to you & be safe!!!! 😊👍🏼🌪️🌀🌬️⛈️🌩️

New Port Richey is a suburb of Clearwater and Tampa with about 250,000 people. The city of NPR itself is small but the unincorporated area is large. Generally tornados are too small to view the “clear center” but that experience would be easier in the eye of an intense hurricane.

@@RobJonesHurricane Thanks Rob, that would be pretty cool to see from the eye of a hurricane!! My daughter is in the central part of Florida, North of Clearwater & Tampa. I've never had heard of the unincorporated town of New Port Richey before. I live in Colorado, Denver metro area & we've got several unincorporated towns. Part of my county is unincorporated!!!! I can't believe it's been nearly 16 years since Hurricane Wilma crossed South Florida. This was the last time we really had hurricane conditions here in Miami (we did not get sustained hurricane-force winds from Irma). I was only 2 years old when I went thru Wilma but I still remember it well. Very violent hurricane. I wonder how much our hurricane-free streak will last.

I recall this storm being over in a matter of hours here in Broward. Wilma was moving rapidly due to it hitting a cold front. Once it moved through, it dropped into the low 60s that evening, so being without power that first night wasn't that bad with the cool temps.

Not sure about a noise when turning. The symptoms I had were not in relation to turning the wheel but rather a rattle when going over bumps and such. Don't know about tie rods as it's not something I have had to deal with yet. I'm currently at 154,000 miles.

So I fixed mine because the intermediate shaft was installed incorrectly. I could see the splines showing about 1cm (similar to your video) coming out of that top connection point. I followed the Toyota service manual to a T when re-installing and NO issues. The sound is completely gone. All these videos showing re-greasing and this and that... no. It must be re-installed exactly per Toyota manual, including tightening the 3 bolts down in the correct sequence, and most importantly, having the steering wheel in the lowest position during install. You should not have ANY splines showing. Once you raise the wheel up into your normal driving position it will take the tiny bit of slack left in the U-joints out of the equation and POOF the rattle is gone.
@RobJonesHurricane6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the additional information. I am going on 11 months and about 40,000 miles since I tightened this down without any more rattling.
