Shaving against the growth for peach fuzz is the worst! It will definitely grow stronger and harder hair, maybe even thicker. Prescription strength tretinoin will do miracles for this young woman, it will give her youth back! Stop advising wrong treatments, please!

Can’t make the patient do what they don’t want to… I’ve recommended retinol or Tretinoin. The hair is what she is mostly concerned with. I’ve also recommended laser hair removal instead. Her hair grows back exactly the same. There’s delays in how frequent she returns so I’ve been able to see how it grows. It is exactly like when she first started.

Would it not just grow back stronger for someone with stronger hairiness? Asking genuinely. I shaved my arm because people were telling it was a myth but then it grew back stronger.

Her hair is darker, but still fine. There are areas that are somewhat thicker(very few places). I’ve recommended laser but this is her preference. Hair of the body definitely grows in differently. The facial hair tends to be very fine however, some people still have very coarse hair. I think people believe her hair is thicker than it is due to the color being dark.

At first you need to gently squeeze and it will come out as you roll it on like Angie does in the video. But you shouldn’t need to squeeze much and very little goes along way. It should have a dewy appearance but not so much product that you have to rub or you’ll use too much.

I had never heard about the direction mattering until very recently on my video comments. I was trained by dermaplanepro and do not recall it making a difference the way that waxing in a the direction hair growth does. 45 degrees is best because it prevents the blade from dulling. I was trained over 10 years ago so it’s possible they’ve found better ways. I was told by someone in the comments that going down prevents breakouts. I will reach out to dermaplanepro as I’ve meant to do this. I’ve wondered if this keeps being said because so many influencers selling their own “dermaplane” blades. I had never heard this until this year recently.

Let me tell you Skinbetter fixed my post menopausal skin. I have used prescription tretinoin for years with no problem and then menopause happened and my skin reacted and shriveled up. I just couldn’t use tretinoin at all anymore. My derm NP gave me samples of the Alto, Alpha and Trio and magic happened. I ordered the full size. Yes these are expensive but I don’t need anything else in my routine but cleanser and sunscreen so in the end it’s cost effective. Also easy non complicated routine that doesn’t require 10 steps. Hey Trish! 👋🏻 Thanks for the video! ❤ I can totally relate to you with my own breakout issues. Funny you bring up mandelic acid because I have been recently researching about it being better for sensitive acne-prone skin. I am curious to try the product but still trying to give my retinol a chance (equivalent to 0.05% tretinoin) and don’t want to ruin my skin barrier. I’m moving up slowly but worried to try anything else in the mix. I have taken your advice and used your link to buy a few Avene products such as the Cleanance Blemish serum which is good for spot treating on my sensitive skin, so I do like that. I also bought the XeraCalm cleanser as it seems soothing for my sensitive skin (not sure if it’s the best for acne-prone but my skin is not drying which I like). Would you say the witch hazel can be drying to use with a retinol or Tretinoin? I haven’t tried it yet because I want to see how my skin is with me bumping up the retinol use. Do you feel the mandelic acid or tretinoin is better at treating cystic acne? I liked your maskne video on how you got rid of your acne in the jaw and neck area just using a retinol (which is my main problem areas), so I am addressing my issues in a similar way. I’m also curious to know if you like the Skinbetter Trio moisturizer more than the Avene Tolerance Cream. 😁 I might try that one next possibly out of curiosity. Is their eye serum retinol-free? I’m also on a hunt for eye serums or creams that are effective for wrinkles and dark circles but without the retinol. Sorry for the long post. 😅 You have me curious. 👀

Witch hazel that is alcohol free has been great for me! I linked the one I use in the description. It is not drying. Honestly Tretinoin is stronger and for me works faster. If someone is very sensitive, they tend to do better with the mandelic. Are you tolerating the RetrinAl okay? I love the skinbetter Trio better actually! It is much more pricey but I have fallen in love with it and it gives me just enough hydration and is not pore clogging. The skinbetter interfuse eye cream does not have retinol in it. I am about to do a sale for my youtubers! Keep watch ! 25% off very soon for an upcoming holiday ;) You can order the skinbetter from the link in description, but our office will be doing 25% off everything we carry. do not ever be sorry! @@aestheticiantrishmccarty1317 Oooo! I will have to take advantage of the sales. 😁 I will definitely keep my eyes 👀 open! I do have the Thayers Witch Hazel! I’ve only been using it on my body, but will also try the face and see what I think after cleansing. I do like that it’s anti-bacterial and not sure if the Cleanance Blemish serum is really anti-bacterial but more exfoliating? 🤔 It is gentle with my skin, though. I just can’t put it all over my skin (only spot treat). And I’m not using RetrinAl, but a retinol by Truth Treatments (5% serum) that is the highest in the market, equivalent to 0.05% Tretinoin. So it’s potent and strong, but without the harsh side effects. You may like it, too. It’s a clean company. I’ve started using it every week and now worked up to every 4 days, going slow. My skin always looks smoother and brighter the next day. So I do see improvements. It’s just the stubborn breakouts around the jaw and neck due to detox or like you, when I eat something that doesn’t agree with my body. ☹️ If you have any suggestions to add to my current routine feel free. But so far so good! I definitely want to look into the Skinbetter stuff. Thanks so much for your time and help! 😊

@@aestheticiantrishmccarty1317 Thanks Trish! I am actually thinking about trying the Skinbetter eye cream you are using and also the Trio moisturizer. I have reactions to niacinamide as in little tiny bumps would appear all over the area applied. I don't think it's in the Trio moisturizer but I did see it in the eye cream. Do you think the eye area should be fine? I don't feel the eye area would cause me problems like my face...but I also don't want to spend a high price on something I may react to, as I do have sensitive skin. But seeing that you have sensitive skin and tolerate it well, I feel I would probably be OK.
