You can definitely see the hierarchy among the animals. They can all drink, and frequently co-existed in the water, but only if they are respecting and higher animals' space

Dear Jos, Did you really see the fossa in 2022? We were in Kirindy in 2022 for 3 days but never saw it roaming freely. There was only one in a cage behind the camp. But if you have seen this beauty,. we would go there again to try seeing it. :)

Hi, yes we saw the fossa, but in the dark. Usually they hang out around the kitchen for food, but when we were there shortly after Corona there were no tourists and the restaurant was closed. The trip after us there were tourists there and our friend (guide Nick) made a video with his phone for us of the fossa in daylight.

@@josvddool That sounds amazing, I really hope the fossa are back. Do you by any chance have any information to the guide Nick? Either email or WhatsApp? :)

A real nature film :). I remember from our trip to Selous that our nerves were screeching when we saw the lions from an open safari jeep. Still get chills from this impressive feeling!

I love this video. But as I'm watching it, I find it a little disconcerting that the elephants (and I love elephants) bath in the drinking water. :)
Hello, I really enjoyed your video. I am planning a trip there next month. Planning to fly from Tana to Toasmasina, reaching at 6:30pm. How do I get to the Palmarium Lodge from the airport? Is it possible to go by taxi? How long is the drive? I have been searching for a way to book a stay at Palmarium Lodge online, but can not find the website. Can you offer any information? I would be very grateful. Thank you.
@josvddool Жыл бұрын
hi, Palmarium is difficult to reach if you don’t have your own transport. Maybe you can ask Palmarium what the best options are for you, but I also can’t find their website. The drive will take you the whole day (8 hours). Better to stop halfway in Andisabe, the place to see the famous indri. maybe this link will help www.rome2rio.com/s/Antananarivo/Ankanin-ny-Nofy

Very beautiful. We go also to madagascar very soon. Are there no problems by traveling with a drone? I have read that the use is not allowed for privat persons. Greets from Austria
@josvddool Жыл бұрын
To get an official permit you need to get permission from a lot of departments. In fact it is allowed everywhere, except in the national parks. In the parks it is sometimes possible to buy a permit at the office. Our travel agency advised us just to take the drone with you in your checked in luggage and respect the rules. We did. Only in Isalo a guide took us to a remote place on the border of the park to take some shots.
