I remember doing Ollie finger flips in the 80's and ollie-ing right into my fingers and knuckles hard AF on numerous occasions bleeding fingers and grip tape burns sucked!

What size trucks would you use with a 7.75 board?
@mike_osterman1
@mike_osterman1 2 күн бұрын
With Waltz freestyle wheels, anything with a roughly 4.5” hanger. Ace11, bullet 120, etc.

some guides it looks like people are jumping off of their front foot over and over, but this one looks like he's doing small manuals over and over. Not sure what the correct thing to do is.

He was very technical (and kind of awesome). But only street skaters that don't know much of freestyle are the ones thinking he is the godfather of FS.

Mike, Im 41, never skated and am trying to learn on my own. how do i get more control? i feel like even on carpet my board slips out so easily and i feel like fear of breaking myself and not being able to work (which is very active and unable to be done injured) is stopping me from progressing. Is it just muscle development? I know over trucks is most stable, and pressure on balls of my feet. ive been doing mini tramp exercises and plan to get a wooden balance board. Are there any body position suggestions or fundamentals related to where my head should be? I really feel inspired to master this but Im starting to feel too old to learn without inevitable injury. Any advice?

Someone on IG asked how to separate shoulder and hip movement on the skateboard. I've been doing this forever, but never knew the name. I posted this videos link in the comment section and it got removed for being "intentionally misleading"....

i had this thought… what if you combined this dude’s trick (sal flip footplant tailblock 180) kzbin.infomzf47IZbaNk?si=FZvLZ3pbojiDzTzO … combine these two tricks essentially… like… youd be doing a tailblock (in motion)… but maybe itd be possible? i dont see why not… im gonna give it a shot…

Thanks for this video. i am interested in freestyle skateboarding since yesterday when i seen Yuta Fujii on Braille Skateboarding. i can't skate but i am going to buy a skateboard when i have the money and try to learn from tutorial videos. There is somewhere called Projekts MCR Skatepark that does private skateboard lessons too. i like watching skateboard videos even though i can't skate i find skateboarding fascinating. i like watching X Games and SLS skateboard tournament videos. Whenever i see someone skateboarding in real life down the street for example i watch them.

Hmmm, I wouldn’t say it’s a dolphin since only one foot is sending the board vertical. The Bebop begins fakie, the board pops vertically, and then only a 1/2 finger flip sends the board back to its wheels
