Nice driving and no BWM (big wing mustangs) to deal with 😀
@jamesadams36223 ай бұрын
Wow, I was waiting for that car to come off. Couldn't tell if something was broke, or the driver just over-driving.

Wow. That could have been many time worse.

I watch this every time I go to VIR and i still don't understand how you did this. great lap.

Great battle, you've really got some top-end speed. I've heard that unfortunate noise once or twice before, heck of a bummer after such a good drive. Nice job exiting the track swiftly and safely.

The SM drivers seems to be a lot easier to deal with than the big wing group.
@evanlevine3233 Жыл бұрын
Yea the traffic is different for sure. Easier to get by with speed, but often having their own great battles.

19:50 mark. I'm nursing a hurt car running the carousel in the wrong gear. Let you by as quick as I could, hope I didn't hold you up getting in there. (considering you won I assume not!)

Thank you for the video. Very ibmpreessive how much you gain under braking! Can you eplain the thinking behind the up shift between 6 and 7? Is that to take some of the torque off when throttling up out of 7?
@evanlevine32332 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jay - it makes very little difference overall but I find that revving out 3rd makes the car less stable there, and anytime you can move a shift to dead-time it saves a little time on throttle later. The short shift helps the front end grab a bit more grip and then prevents having to do it at redline while sliding out to the curbing later in the corner.
@fstlnj292 жыл бұрын
@@evanlevine3233 Thank you for the eplanation! I was wondering about both of those things after watching it a few times and then thinking about what one would being trying to do from 6 down to 8. Best of luck with your racing and keep the videos coming.
