One man called joe homy have the best covers this girl can't pronounce words correctly and loose her breathe and i feel she is out of tone's... I think I can do a cover better than this duo and it will sound better ... Still searching for someone who can play it better than joe homy but no one impressed me

My problem with this song is the guitar twangs in the original version. Remove the twangs and what do you have left? Something that sounds 'thin'. Maybe there is some way to make it sound like it is not just the strumming of wires and give it depth without coloring it with twangs. Maybe it needs a bass guitar.

I have a Dimebucker SH-13 on a DEAN ZX guitar, basswood, and it plays perfectly. I guess dimebucker doesn't really fit Ibanez wood 🙂
@CarnalDepression25 күн бұрын
You are right and wrong. It is completely true that Dimebucker needs basswood, but my Ibanez RG550 Japan made is basswood and Dimebucker is perfect on it! I tryed in another guitar, Kramer Baretta (alder) and it was bad.

Tonezone had more growl on the first guitar but the dimebucker sounded tighter and more comprehensible on the low tuned guitar.

Hey man, do you have ridiculous neck angle issue? Some owners complained, make them bridge/tailpiece has to be set so high from the body, and strings action so high from the pickup... please comment, thanks...
@tuvisebastien24164 жыл бұрын
Hey man. Nah not really, there is a sweet spot to find by adjusting the truss rod and the bridge, but I got it to a pretty comfy setting. You won't get it as low as a modern guitar like an Ibanez RG or something like that, but that's not what these guitars are meant for if you ask me. Of course it's also a matter of personal taste.

@tuvisebastien24164 жыл бұрын
If you look at 0:19 that's pretty much it! Gain at full, Volume at around one o clock, and EQ full left. No overdrive in front or anything like that. It's a pretty solid practice amp.

awesome playing!! which black metal songs did you play?
@tuvisebastien24164 жыл бұрын
Hey cheers. First riff is Darkthrone's "Earth's last picture" from the Total Death album. Then there is Mayhem's "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" from the record that has thesame name, and Burzum's "Spell Of Destruction" , and after that Dark Funeral's "The Secrets Of The Black Arts". If you are novice to the genre, I would urge you to look into everything Darkthrone has released in the 90s, also Katharsis from Germany's discography, and Clandestine Blaze. All truly killer stuff, what black metal is really about in my humble opinion.
