Video has good sound and good color. You need to use a tripod, hand held video is too shaky (Earthquake footage)

I am currently trying to improve my transitioning. This was with a gimbal head on top of my tripod.

Simply MAGNIFICANT having KMCI spotted on the KZbin. I love the smaller aircraft without all the mumbo-jumbo associated with the `Big Tin.' Thank you.

Holly smokes that worked good. Only problem was i went too low on the side and one of the spinning heads hit the board. Clean board, but $150 for new surface cleaner.

Lucky!! It’s been a while since I got golden hour footage I’m absolutely jealous. About how much do these cross country delta flights run you $? I fly spirit but they’re boutta get swallowed by JetBlue
@Wheninflight2 жыл бұрын
Currently the cheapest we can get Delta on this route is $350-400, booking early and in economy. I was glad we took off in the golden hour light, making a good lighting departure.

For the cockpit. Mostly the same cockpit of the B737 that you fly with the airlines…..a few differences but takes off and lands the same as any other 737….it’s the mission that is different….which makes it unique. Way back in the day my middle brother was one of the crew members that loaded the sonobuoys and launched them. 737 body but 767 ER wings for longer airborne loiter times.
@scottnolan28333 жыл бұрын
So much more advanced than the P-3's I used to crew. I do wonder if they miss the MAD boom, though.
@Wheninflight3 жыл бұрын
I used to have a math teacher back in high school who used to fly the P-3 Orion's for the Navy. He told me he would've liked to have all the automation that they have now.
@stephencannon31402 жыл бұрын
@@JT-ch9gt A big consideration…probably a big one in this case……the MAD boom on the P3 was at the tail section with a fairing and aerodynamically clean look…..B737 airframe and probably most commercial aircraft for that matter….the APU is literally in the tail section. APU exhaust in the tail and usually a retractable/faired off intake door somewhere close!! S-3…Carrier Based P-3 companion….had a retractable MAD boom….along (Rear) with retractable Inflight Refueling Probe (Front). Original P3 design had a retractable APU exhaust door forward left lower fuselage.
@stephenallen4660 Жыл бұрын
I have about 8500 hours in the P-3c. This new P-9 is cool. I agree with you about the MAD system. How do they know when they are on top of the target without MAD? AOC (NAC/AW) USN retired. P.s. the seats look like your in First Class on Delta! 😂😂😂

Wrong, Delta's 777's use the Pratt and Whitney P4000 engines. Not Rolls Royce
@Wheninflight10 жыл бұрын
Well, if you're familiar with rzjets.net, this 772 has the Trent engines on it. You may want to look it up and see. You'd put the registration number in the registry 24bit search bar and see.

Do you know what a static takeoff is?
@Wheninflight11 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's where the pilots pull up to the runway all lined up, and then add some power while sitting on the brakes. After a few seconds, they'll let go of the brakes, and then immediately put the engines on full power and do the rest of the takeoff.
@MusicLover1132511 жыл бұрын
David McDonald I think a true static takeoff is when you hold the brakes, apply takeoff thrust (even if you stop at an intermediate position to verify things are working properly, you'll still hold the brakes until you get the thrust all the way up), then release the brakes.
@Axyeron8 жыл бұрын
+MusicLover11325 that would actually not be a bad static takeoff

Hey it seems like you fly allot. What do you think of the Detroit airport so far? And do you have a favorite plane type. Thanks
@Wheninflight11 жыл бұрын
Oh, I really like DTW. When I was flying through there to get to Europe, I was kind of expecting it to be somewhat disorganized due to there recent bankruptcy, but it was great. And I would say my favorite type would be the 757/767 series.
@horseplop911 жыл бұрын
Yeah i can understand that.. It was a pit of an airport till they redid the whole things mabe 6 years ago now, its one of my favorites also, but mabe i am partial because i live in the suburbs of detroit. thanks for the timely response. i like the a330 alot also but 757 is probably my favorite.
@Wheninflight11 жыл бұрын
Aaron Diamond Would you have a favorite airline maybe? Mine, here is Delta, but when I'm out of the country, it's defintely KLM.
@horseplop911 жыл бұрын
Yes i do, Delta is the usa choice. I have only flown once outa the us. I prefer the newer cleaner hubs. My dads a big southwest fan, Atlanta is a cool town, the airport is so so unless you go intl so i heard. But not as many airports have done a huge overhaul as i thought. i have been to clt,atl,fll,pbi,mia,lax,cincinnati and pit. so far
@Wheninflight11 жыл бұрын
Oh, o avrebbe potuto essere causa di qualche tempo, forse. Ma sì, nord-ovest ha avuto molti problemi finanziari nei suoi ultimi anni prima di fondersi nel Delta.
