replaced the head gasket. After reassembling everything, I noticed a coolant leak near the far left spark plug. I can't pinpoint the exact source of the leak. Is there supposed to be a plug or fitting in the port to the left of the first spark plug? I've examined the area thoroughly but can't find where the coolant is leaking from."

Probably know this by now but for the sake of anyone else, to take the axle nut off just apply pressure to the foot brake.

That's actually a pretty cool conversion. Is there a template as to how high/low to cut the outer supports or did you just eyeball the height? Well done overall and they look fantastic in your Square.

Great video. About to attempt replacing the regulator, it was broken when I purchased the car and I've already removed it. Thinking that I'll grease/lube the crap out of the new/used regulator once I pick it up. Thanks for sharing your process, very helpful for the rest of us DIY guys.

Thanks for the video! I had the exact same issue on my 3.0T powered Audi SQ5. I was able to correct the flap issue just by taking it apart and diagnosing the issue before stumbling upon your video. I have since corrected the mechanical flap install issue. However I am now still getting the fault codes for both sides saying they’re stuck closed. I tested the intake, manifold runner control valves by hooking up a vacuum pump and letting it sit for about five minutes to simulate the vacuum system on the car. The flap actuators appear to be working fine. All electrical connections and vacuum lines are connected every time I clear the code and go for a drive it comes right back. I’m wondering if perhaps having them installed and properly and the vehicle being driven if that caused an issue with the actuator? Looking for any advice as to what this issue could be thanks.

I put an entire sunroof into a VW. Parts aren't available from VW of course, maybe there's some aftermarket suppliers but none of that mattered to me because I got the sunroof from a Volvo 343. It was exactly the same, made by Golde who supplied sunroofs to many European makes. And all the parts were available new from Volvo.

The FCP video I watched they said it but didn't show it. I missed that very important bit of information and had to take off my supercharger again. Which was not that difficult or time consuming to do.

@aldhoenciso1109 1 damn grain of walnut had gotten in the electronic solenoid that mounts to the rear of the SC for the vacuum lines, it was keeping it stuck open. I blew compressed air through it and all was good.

@mr.padgettt Жыл бұрын
not to my knowledge
@K24-SRT Жыл бұрын
If you can move the actuator arms manually up and down this means the air intake manifold is installed correctly, the issue is something else like a vacuum leak or a faulty actuators? Because I'm getting a fault code intake manifold stuck closed bank 1 and 2
