Thank you for your encouragement, friend! I am set to see homelessness eradicating in our lifetime. This is an issue that has been mishandled for too long and it is a perfect opportunity for the Church to bring reformation to our society by not only being a voice, but implementing simple and practical plans that offer a biblical structure as the only answer.

Modern, 501c3 "churches" and the church of God are two different things. Being "a part of the body" and a part of these "churches" are two different things. Modern "churches" teach a false god called "the trinity." They teach the lie of eternal conscious torment. They teach lies like the "preexistence of Christ" and of a false deity called "God the son," which is never once mention in Scripture. They are often robber's dens and houses of gossip where men have abdicated their responsibility to lead. God did not command people to "go to church." Hebrews 10:25 isn't talking about "going to church" or assembling with people who believe in a false god called the trinity. If you are able to find a group of believers that actually reads Scripture and believes it, you are fortunate. Most "churches" do not. Either way, God will guide those that are his into the truth, and what is taught in these "churches" is not the truth.

Hello friend, thank you for your comment. I can agree with some of what you say. Throughout scripture the body of Christ represents those who are born again, correct? This body of Christ is commanded through scripture to meet continually, submit to leadership, take communion, worship God, serve one another, and tithe, right? Most of the time this takes place in a physical location, right? Scripture also refers to Christians who are gathered together as sheep, living stones, a holy nation, a royal priest hood, or children of God. We are also called the household of God, a Spiritual house, the temple of the living God, and the family of God. There is a difference between the true and false church for sure, many may not see this difference, many may have non biblical reasons for making this distinction. One thing is clear, we recognize this body as the church to day. I believe I was intentional to make a distinction between the two. So when I say church membership is important I would be pointing to His body. If I say go to church, it would be an encouragement to meet with the body. I hope that helps clarify things a little for you, Friend.

It sounds like torture because you don't understand mankind in relation to God. As previously stated, my friend, suffering exists because of sin. There is no torture involved in God using that which is bad to produce something good out of it. I could see you making such a claim in God using suffering as a form of justice, that would make more sense. However in this case God uses pain to teach and bring about correction. Does that process not sound familiar to you? Do you not recognize that pattern in life? I mean it sounds good when you say that, right? Your worldview seems like a natural, logical response to life. However there is much error in the way you approach life. First off you can't reproduce creation or life. This is why you believe there must be a Creator. Secondly your measures for truth and morality have been wrong simply because they are subjective means. You cannot base truth or morality on your feelings, thoughts, or human experience. You cannot dictate what truth is nor can you redefine it, it couldn't therefore be true. Truth is fact and a fact is something that has always been and always will be consistent, unchanging. The fact is that there is ample proof for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you just refuse to accept it, in fact you cannot but help to deny it because you are unregenerate. You accept history and evolution which you have no way of proving, they are just stories, yet you believe them. Scripture is arguably more accurate in its historicity than American history. Life is a gift, even for those who find themselves in hell. Your need for repentance makes no sense because you do not understand what it means to be a fallen, sinfully corrupt individual before a perfect God Who demands complete perfection. You are a sinner and you sin against God every day. God has given you His law and you break it constantly. You sin in your refusal to believe in Jesus Christ for the remission of your sin. On the day of judgment when you stand before God He will judge you for the sins you committed. This, again, is why you need a Savior!

Let me get this straight. God purposely causes pain and suffering in individuals in order to make them submit to his will for their life, which is to ordain the sovereignty of God? In other words, God makes people suffer and feel horrible so they believe in him and tell other people to worship him? Sounds like a egomaniac psychopath instead of an all loving omnipresent omnipotent being to me. I cannot agree with this. I'm agnostic at this point, was raised Catholic. I believe something (God) made life/the world/this experience, but beyond that I know nothing other than life = pain /suffering. I certainly observe evil in this world (rape, war, disease, disability, death, homelessness, famine, etc.) and therefore that most likely earth = hell where the evil one reigns. No one knows what Gods will is and why we suffer here, but we certainly do. Hopefully, if we suffer well, and not join the evil one in it's evil doings, we will be rewarded when our time comes to pass over. Life just feels like a torturous test. We don't know our grades in the eyes of God until we are dead and it is over.

Hello friend, I believe you have misunderstood what it means for God to ordain. I think I can help. It simply means that God allows it, that He uses it for His glory. In this sense He uses it within the believer to bring about good. It does not mean that He created it, nor is it a malicious act on His part. Evil, suffering, and death are both the byproduct of sin. Sin came into the world when Adam disobeyed God by eating the fruit God commanded Him not to. Once he ate, sin, suffering, evil and death entered the world. We can know the will of God, we can obtain a right knowledge of God and His relationship with mankind, how He sees us and what He demands from us. This is why we have scripture or the Bible. It gives us this revealed knowledge. In His word you gain knowledge of why you are a sinner and are in need of a Savior. It warms you about the dangers of sin and not believing in Christ. Scripture makes it clear that your efforts or works cannot satisfy the justice of God. It makes it clear, you have broken the law of God and are deserving of justice. You deserve the wrath of God because you are not submissive to His sovereignty. You will have to pay for the crimes you have committed because you have not repented from your sin nor put your trust in the righteous works of Jesus Christ. The whole reason God was manifested in the flesh, lived in complete obedience to the Father will was to make a way for sinners like you to receive mercy instead of justice. Listen, your works, your goodness will not be enough in the day of judgment when you stand before God. You need a righteousness that is perfect. You can't produce that. This is why you need a Savior. So as long as you have today, repent from your sin, put your trust in the righteous works of Jesus Christ, otherwise there is nothing left for you but the fierce anger and wrath of a holy God.

@@thedifficultpath so God allows pain and suffering so we can glorify him through becoming "better" as a result of our pain and suffering? Sounds like torture, manipulation, and control to me. My opinion, there's no proof Jesus existed. I cannot base my life beliefs on a story that I have no idea if it actually happened. I base my beliefs about life on what I experience and see firsthand; what I can measure, observe, and repeat, truth. So because I did not ask to be born, I have to repent for sins I did not commit? That does not make any sense to me. What does make sense is that evil exists in this world and as a result people experience pain and suffering. Now what the purpose of that pain and suffering is I have no idea.
@thedifficultpath

Do you claim to be Christian? Is truth based on your opinions? There is proof that Jesus existed. More than that we have eye witness accounts that he was who He said He was, God incarnate. The problem is that you would have to deny all of the evidence, the eye witness accounts, on top of every single prophecy He fulfilled, and history in order to establish your opinion of truth.
@nyegye1606
@nyegye1606 3 ай бұрын
@@thedifficultpath no I don't claim to be Christian. Truth is truth, no based on opinions. But I think most truth we will never know until we are dead. Therefore a lot of what we believe to be true is subjective or our opinion of what we think is true.
@nyegye1606
@nyegye1606 3 ай бұрын
@@thedifficultpath there is no proof Jesus existed or that he was special, some people just believe this story as truth, again their subjective opinion. Just because you say there are eye witnesses does not mean anything, have you spoken to them personally? You sure they existed? I bet there are eye witnesses who would say Jesus did not exist or was not was he said he was. Again this is just pure belief. I prefer to base my faith on what I have experienced personally in life.
