Hello! In my configuration, several frequency converters are connected to port number 1, and a Weintek panel is connected to port number 2. Both are Modbus RTU. Please tell me why, after physically disconnecting the frequency converter from the RS485 network, the M172 controller continues to display on the Weintek panel the current and frequency that were at the time of disconnection? Thanks!

Is It used to control the discharge pressure of the pump or just to show the pressure of discharge in panel? Can I run the pump safely without the transducer?

you can control the pressure also monitor. the pressure transducer sense the pressure and convert to a analog signal which u can connect to a PLC or BMS, you can control the pump pressure by controlling the speed . (need to use the VFD for pump motor ). Or u can set cut in cut off pressure set point and control/maintain the discharge pressure .(if its a normal DOL starter for pump motor ) hope you got it. if not write ma again.

Thank you! I was stalled in my progress trying to merge timer with pressure based alternating pumps and this video helped lots! My next step along this path will be incorporating delayed “lag pump on” to assist the lead pump reach set pressure.

@@sennapparajan.p thanks again, I’m struggling to figure out how to add delayed 2nd pump start to reach set pressure. Resolving minimum lead pump run time with delayed start of 2nd pump with its own minimum run time is confusing and hard to understand

@@sennapparajan.p thanks! On a dual pump system 1st pump starts on a call for pressure with a minimum run time before pump 2 starts on delay until pressure is made. The lag pump also has a minimum run time to prevent short cycling. If either pump trips it defaults to the remaining pump and finally they alternate lead and lag. I’m not visualizing the order of things. Thank you for any wisdom you might share in this regard!

Thanks you for sharing this great feature!. Is there a way to add a message that indicates which pump is running in a dual pump boost pressure system? ie suction/discharge psi as well as indicate which of the 2 pumps in running and which is off? Thanks again!

you need to use PLC with modbus option. u can make program with modbus address and monitor through BMS or u can use BACNET IP .

0 value is your sensor range minimum value, 255 is sensor maximum value ex- if you have pressure transducer 0-10bar range and output with 0-10v then 0 is 0v 255 is 10volt 255 did by 10 = 25.5 equal to 1 bar if you have temp sensor 0-60deg cel with o-10v out 0 is min value 255 divd by60 = 4.250 equal to 1 deg cel hope you got
