Really awesome character motivation and origins! She almost feels like a tragic hero in the making trying to redeem Zariel. You could easily see her becoming another sacrifice in Zariel's obsession/delusion. The breif synopsis has already got me rooting for her success in her interpersonal goals and missions! Here's an intriguing concept a teifling divine soul sorcerer who's father is a normal human man and their mother is Zariel the archdevil of avernus who hidden her child in the material plane far away from the dangers of the nine hells politics and the blood war she wages against the demons hoping her child finds happiness and peace in a life without her and now her child wishes to journey to the nine hells to attempt to help their mother seek redemption and rejoin the angels

This is exactly what I imagined this concept to be and i love the small creative liberties you added i personally think it would be fascinating if her spell book was made of small game animal bones and Fur like rabbits and foxes showing that despite her clans rejection of her she still desires a connection to her people

Here's a concept I've had floating around in my head a lizardfolk order of scribes wizard who was raised by a famous wizard because their tribe saw them as weak and inferior because of their innate curiosity and intelligence the wizard took them in not only for these traits but also because of their natural talent in magic and so the wizard traded their help for the young lizardfolk

Here's a concept i once made for a player one time when i DM'd this was a Damphir beast barbarian who was the son of Lyssa Von Zaravich (the reincarnation of Tatania) who gave birth to him for the exclusive purpose of killing strad so she could take his place as the dark lord let's see what you can come up with using this same concept could be fun to explore
