I love biking in Japan. I completed two times on a bike 88 Temples pilgrimage and once Shimanami Kaido. Stopping to visit Oyamazumi was very special. I'm planning on visiting Japan next year in March. I was "infected" with Windcheetah virus while visiting Shimano Bicycle Museum in Sakai City. Now I own two. Cool trikes. Thank you for your comment. Many roads in Japan are narrow and it is often difficult to ride recumbents, especially trikes. Fortunately, where I live in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, there are many roads where trikes are OK, so I enjoy riding them every day. There are many different types of trikes, but the Windcheetah is a unique model. It's a shame that the manufacturer, AVD, went bankrupt.

It has an aluminium frame, but is lightweight and easy to reach the ground with your feet. It's an easy-to-ride recumbent bike.

@@yasu_alize20 but does this bike help lose weight? i see you are basically lying down most bikes have you stand up so how does losing weight on this help?

Unfortunately, recumbents are not good for losing weight. Road bikes can help you lose weight because you use all the muscles in your body when pedaling at high speeds and going up hills. Recumbents only use the muscles in your lower body, so it's hard to lose weight even when riding long distances. The CRUZBIKE is an exceptional recumbent that uses the muscles of your upper body.

The Seiran SL is made of aluminum, but it's light and the seat is low, making it easy to ride. I currently own two recumbent bikes made by Challenge. Challenge Seiran SL Challenge Concept Trike I've sold the three below. Challenge Distance Challenge Mistral Challenge Folding Trike Alize20 This was my first time using a cycle bus, but there are many different types available. It was a really fun cycling event.

I like two wheels, but I also love trikes. Each is different and good. So I bought a lot of recumbent.
i have one i modded it so it is eletric aswell so when feet tired i put a button and i am ridning still with no leg movement

In Japan, an increasing number of owners are converting recumbent two-wheelers and trikes into e-bikes. I have back and ankle injuries that make it a little difficult to run long distances, but I'd like to row and ride using only human power for about 10 years.

HPV Street Machine GTのUSSに乗られているのですね。 フレームラインも綺麗だし乗り心地も良さそう。 Street Machineはハンドルの高さがフレームとシートの間で意外と高い位置ですが、 USSでもフレーム下にハンドルが生えているモデルでハンドル幅も大きい車両だと 偶にサイクリングロード出入り口の車止めポールを 乗ったままで通過出来ない箇所があるので困りますね。 次のニキリン ファンデーには Challenge Seiran SL か Catrike 700を積んで行こうかなと思っています。
The under-seat steering wheel has a strong recumbent feel, and it's nice to have a wide view of the sky without any obstructions like the steering wheel in the front view. In terms of ease of riding and stability when climbing hills, over-seat steering is better, and I like the open handle type because it's especially comfortable, but it's a shame that the handlebars intrude so much into the front view.

My Flevobike Green Machine is a standard model, non-electric, and human-powered. It has a frame covered by a chain case and a Rohloff SpeedHub 14S internal hub under the seat. This internal hub, which is usually attached to the rear wheel hub, makes it look like an electric bike.
