I do these exercises regularly as well. They help enormously. Thank you, dear Shannon.

Life took this ray of sunlight way too soon. I never knew her but discoving her videos has been extremely impactful in my life. Her videos have helped me find my own voice and build confidence in it. I practice along with her videos nearly daily. I can only hope that she's somewhere beautiful...where she can sing with her amazing voice as freely as she wants. I hope she's fully aware that her voice is still heard and still inspiring others

Hi friends, this is Shannon's husband, Dustin. I just wanted to thank everybody for their views, comments, and support on Shannon's vocal tutorial videos. She would have been blown away to see her videos racking up tens of thousands of views and dozens of sweet comments. Tragically, Shannon was killed by a reckless, selfish driver at the age of 28 on October 13th, 2015. She never got to see how many people she helped and inspired with this videos. If things had gone differently, I know she would have absolutely loved updating these videos, responding to all of your comments, and creating many more tutorials for you. She was the kind of person who would see an 8 word question from someone in need and respond with 8 paragraphs of highly polished information. She spent her time on others. Tell your loved ones as often as you can what they mean to you. You never know when it's your last chance.

I don't even know how to describe the pain I feel for you. This is literally my biggest fear in life.... Your advise about telling people you love them because you never know when it'll be your last chance - it's like, you don't even know how devastating it is to not be able to say I Love You, until you experience the traged for yourself. I hope that life has brought you some peace, closure, and companionship. I truly wish you the absolute best.

I can't even imagine how hard all this was for you and all the family, I am really sorry by heart. She will remain in our hearts and minds, personally she has helped me so so much with my singing with this videos and I know that many singers who come and watch this channel feel the same way. I didn't knew her but she was an angel for sure with a beautiful voice and soul. I hope that you find peace in your heart and keep on going, be strong. And thank you so much for commenting in here, we will keep her alive in our hearts, minds and in our voices❤

what does it mean when the vowel "E" is more easier on my voice (i feel like i can hit more notes and its more comfortable singing in) than singing in "Ah"? In "Ah " i have to switch to head voice quite quickly. With "E" I can mix it easily. I guess cause it might be easier cause I'm hitting for of the nasal area? Not sure why. Maybe you can help me find out! =) Also, I am having a lot of "vocal fry." I know rest, tea, and honey can help. But for some reason, its every day and I can't seem to hit any notes with this "vocal fry" in the way. I feel like my vocal cords are damaged or something. Do you know another way to stop vocal fry?

Shannon, thanks for this. I do it before mass every Sunday morning. I keep telling my sister, with whom I sing in the choir, that it changed my life. ;) I just feel way more comfortable attacking the songs. More air and better control. Yeah, I'm not even kidding when I say it changed my life. Thank you!
