Because there is a window in the bulkhead. And the rear doors also have windows. You probably won't see much, but something is better than nothing.

Went past a tyre fitter on o/s trailer tyre on a long two lane motorway slip road,only his cones protecting him,being in antic,I slowed down hazards on,straddled the two lanes,and he gave me a thumbs up,idiots were still plowing down at silly speeds.Stay safe Greg.

You Parked Too Close to the Vehicle,appreciate u have the Air line length to consider....Your Van Totally Parked the Wrong Way ....Wheels should be pointing to the Verge side...as you had it ..if you got a hit .your Van goes Straight to the Live Lanes. Make sure People are behind Barrier ,but looked deep in Nettles..very least to the N/S of their Vehicle. Have a Refs Whistle to give them...as your Working and they see a Potential Issue, rather than come to you ,Whistle from where they are. No New Valve Replacement?. Refit the Wheel Studs Opposite the last one you Started with. Good to see they were Torqued up

Can you please show run flat change 🙏 on van tyre machine as I am starting new job Monday as mobile tyre fitter from being a mechanic on in a workshop with an air arm to push it down to get it on?

Probably too late but you could always find out when your A&E is least busy or contact your GP - they usually have a nurse who can do first aid/splinting, etc.

I’d recommend getting yourself booked into a REACT course, will teach you how to work safely on the roadside, far to close the broken down vehicle, wheels should be locked the opposite way and not into oncoming traffic. Also when stripping off tyres you should start at the valve on the first and second bead to insure you don’t damage the tpms valve, how you didn’t rip the sensor of the valve is beyond me when taking the second bead off.

Has the training for attending breakdowns changed. I would’ve been parking a little further back from broken down vehicle Also with wheels turn’t in towards verge not outwards as if the van gets hit it’s liable to get pushed into live lanes of traffic. The other safety point as well is that the couple who broke down should’ve been away from the working area and behind the armco barrier,

Guy is not a great tyre fitter was about to fit tyre wrong way didn’t balance the wheel you need teaching proper had to tell the guy 2.5 bar cause he couldn’t work out in p.s.i for the customer to understand. Top it off torqued the wheel whilst jacked up

The customer asked for 25, that's clearly not going to be right if that's in psi. 2.5bar sounds a lot more legit, and mercs normally have it displayed in bar on the sticker. There's a gold standard job, and a get them safely on their way before you all get squished job, and there's a time for each. Tyre on, no damage, nice and quick and the customer out of a bad spot and on their way. And a better job than 9 out of 10 tyre monkeys would do working in a fast fit centre. That's what I'd want if I were stood there watching the lorries go past 👍

@@steve5772 shows how much you know Steve yes there are off the motorway in 15 minutes from arriving which is very slow also if you watch the video he says what pressure do you have in your tyres cause clearly he does not go look at the fuel cap too find the right pressure. If you watch the other videos he does a job and says a wheel that he puts on balance machine which says it needs 10g weigh inside and 15g weight outside does not need balancing then removes it puts it on customer car. If you know anything about tyres that 25g the tyre is out will vibrate the steering wheel at 60-80mph and p.s.I is what society works on that is easier to understand 👍

@@samdysart1048 probably not been doing it as many years as you, but I've got a fair idea. Qualified as a fitter a lot of years ago, but spent life doing other stuff. Still I'm pretty decent at working in psi/bar, feet/metres, pints/litres, so I wouldn't need to feel that I'm have to tell someone they're wrong for using the one I don't like. I still have to use a bit of paper if it's in kPa though.

You obviously didn’t watch the whole video from the start. He explained why he doesn’t balance wheels on motorways. Most people who attend breakdowns on motorways would’ve picked up on the safety side watching this video. You got to do your upmost to make the area as safe as possible for yourself and others 👍

@@steve5772 yes your correct but at least if your going to video your work make it correct instead of winging your way through it at least say the correct stuff instead of saying wheels don’t need balancing at 10g and 15g out
