The answer to your campfire token is on page 12 of the base game rules under the section 'Other Collectible Tokens'. 'Campfire token: These tokens are "wild" and may be spent as any Activity token.' Therefore you can (and should) spend them on the cost to move to another campsite. Also don't forget you can back track without cost to build up your resources more easily. That being said I do believe this is a very middling game at best. If you want a deck builder game that feels more like a race then check out Clank.

My copy arrived today! When I played a prototype almost 2 years ago, it was already really fun and reminded me of a Feld type of game.

Picked up Forest Shuffle this year after all your hype about it. It did not disappoint. Wife and i loved it. Trying to get the Expansions when they come back in stock, always seem to be sold out. Favourite game i played this Quarter- Path of Civilization Favourite game this year- Ezra and Nehemiah I really enjoyed Wyrmspan. Big fan of Wingspan, thought Wyrmspan was even better. Had fun collecting and playing Pokémon with my youngest this year. We both got some big pulls from packs at Christmas. -M

I always watch these and play along at home! He here we go with my quarter! Total plays - 194 (but 60 of those were Paperback on the app, so really 134) Unique games - 81 Most played - the Exit Advent Calendar in december, once a day for 24 days! Best new-to-you - My Favourite Things Most Improved Mr. Jack, mixed in the expansion for the first time and it was the best plays I'd ever had with that game! Fallen - The Arctic, its fine for a Onitama-ish game, but enjoyed it less this time. Fav overall - My Favourite Things again, really fell in love with this party/trick-taking game! Best Experience- Grayson and I signed up to be taught Taiwan Formosa early on Sunday at U-Con. Ate breakfast together first and really enjoyed the game. It felt a little like a step up from something like Machi Koro

I walked away from board games for a while. Just to hard to keep up with all the new games coming out and didn't feel like playing anymore. Was like, what are my friends @envyboardgaming up to? BABY,Congratulations 🎉 The one game i did play that was awesome a bit ago was Path of Civilization. Best experience of the year was our 25th weddings anniversary in May playing Green Team Wins and Just One with around 30 people. Got to play In Veno Morte and Skull with a smaller group also. It was so much fun. Hope to get back into gaming more this year and not worry about new games but just playing my shelves of shame games and having lots of fun again.-M

Sounds like a great year of gaming and adventuring 🤓. A lot of the games you guys talked about I haven’t played! Tidal Blades 2 is on my shelf just waiting to be played. Didn’t really have a chance to dive into it because we were getting ready to pack up our house shortly after it arrived.

My copy came this week but I haven't opened it yet. It also had almost no padding. Hopefully everything is OK. Janell and I really enjoyed the game play of our original copy.

Should it be looked at as more of a race game? You should try to trigger the end as soon as possible with as many patients cured as you can before Freud hits the end. The Witcher has the same criticism as being too long also and it seemed that many didn’t see it as a race to the end.

Interesting. We haven't opened our copy yet, but we basically got the all-in pledge for like $30, because of the whole Sweet Mess debacle. Missy was much more looking forward to this than me, but i dont think I'll be too disappointed either way.

I think Moon Elf is mostly about evading and doing smaller attacks. If youre able to rack up the evasives she can be pretty powerful.

Im about to finish the core box -- I also have the Close Encounter Expansion. Which one you recommend I go next? Looks like LF adds new mechanics with the new Dices while DF is more 'miniature' + history thing.

Did you do this for the second quarter of 2024? I think i missed it! Anyway... Most played: Paperback, kind of a cheat because we started playing on the app together - 35 plays! Next would be Final Girl, 11 plays. I left it set upnon the table for a week while everyone else was out of town! Fav new to you: I'll say Things in Rings, someone taught it to us at Grandcon, had a blast and bought it immediately! Most improved: Ark Nova, finnaly played it at 2 instead of 4! Favorite game period: I'll day Marvel Legendary! We play it about once a year still and its still fun! And we actually almost won! Ha! Fallen from favor: Frosthaven maybe? Just a little bit, its starting to get a bit samey after almost 2 years.... Best experience: Grandcon! Ben Casey MD was the star of the show! Oh, and we have Cards Against Humanity Family edition, and it's all poop and fart jokes. Its amusing once in a while with the kids, like new years eve when everyone is a little loopy. But its certainly not a good game.

I liked the part where you discussed games that had fallen. Vik picked Cards against Humanity (don't know it myself) but i couldn't help notice Nick seemed to be giving Vik the evil eye. The Nick picked Fantasy Realms (another i haven't played) and you could see poor Vik's heart break as she clearly likes that game a lot. Have a heart Nick,Give your gal a game even if you secretly don't enjoy it,she's a keeper. 😃

Favourite game this quarter is a tie between Ezra and Nehemiah Dune: Imperium both amazing games Cards Against Humanity and What Do You Meme are horrible games.

Metal coins just make game play SO much more fun. Received my game last night. I think the two silver metal pieces are replacing the wooden turn token, but not sure, because on the Kickstarter site, under Campaign tab the description of the Kickstarter Exclusives has a gold metal hourglass, but there is none in the box. Your Exclusives,and your Little guys, boxes and all, fit right into the bottom layer of the plastic tray, [took me a bit to figure out there are two layers to the plastic tray]. The WishLand Dreams.. expansion, fits as well if you take it out of the box. Happy gaming! Thanks for the unboxing.
