Anthony Perkins was cast to voice Dr. Wolfe, but he passed before he could record his lines. I often wonder how this scene would've played with Perkins.

As the owner of a British smile that defied 5 years of orthodontic medical science, 4 surgically-removed molars and nigh-religious observance of brushing and flossing, I begrudgingly concede in part the truth of this bit.

As a Brit I researched this same topic during my first year at uni. Contrary to the stereotypes which are, unfortunately, often found to be funny in some countries, there is no evidence to support any genetic predisposition in the UK for "bad teeth". According to the British Dental Association and Leeds school of Dentists, Stonemasons, and Cobblers (the three professions are considered to be related here, currently and historically), any instances of dental asymmetry or problems are directly due to diet, as we are force-fed haggis, jellied eels, stargazy pie, stinking bishop cheese, blood sausage, marmite, beans on toast, stone soup, dried fruit-bat uterus, pickled wood shavings, citrus-glazed swine toenails, eye of newt, candied and fermented apple seeds, razzleberry dressing, wolf's tongue with gravy and mash, sat-upon peas, boot-leather pie, and spotted dick pudding, starting from the age of 6 hours after birth. Or a few weeks post-birth if the delivery was premature, which is very often the case here due to reasons. The abrasiveness and pH levels of these foods can be quite damaging to our teeth. Sure, we could simply avoid forcing our children to consume these dentally-disadvantageous foods, but where's the sport in that? It's part of our culture, and has been for nearly a thousand years. Additionally, these foods are just so overwhelmingly delicious! I, for one, can never say no to a second helping of uterus. Hopefully this was helpful. Sincerely, Lord Reginald Q. Winterbottom II, esq.

Apparently there has been no definitive scientific study done to prove that brushing prevents tooth decay and whatnot. I've been hearing that some people frequently get tooth problems, despite brushing and flossing on a regular basis. My own teeth seem to be rather resilient to decay as I didn't need my first filling until I was 15.

I'm an American who's ethnically English from my paternal grandmother's side of the family, and I have fragile teeth that seem to get cavities no matter how well I try to take care of them. Out of all the English stereotypes that I could've possibly lived up to, it's just my luck that it happened to be the bad teeth one! ☹️
