Beautifully stated, enlightening and a testament to how we are still standing, like the tent

Ona was aware of Washington’s Strategy & interacted with Free Blacks & Fugitive Slaves … she’d rather be free than GW’s SLAVE at Mt Vernon … Ona would rather be a Fugitive & on the run, with her kids , than GEORGES SLAVE …

It’s interesting that the supporters of Robert Newburgh rejected the outdated notions of classism and deference and became supporters and citizens of the new United States!

Excellent lecture and book! Now, let’s stop ignoring Baron von Steuben’s “gay” life! and his creation of the U.S. Army.

I have read Tim's John Barry book. I only wish the book came out in audio format. As built the frigate Alliance 36 came out with 12 pound cannonballs however after the Alliance vs Atlanta and Trespesy fight the Alliance had the 12 pounders with 18 pounders. During the fight off Cape Canaveral the Alliance 36 fought the fight with 18 pounders. Often while driving I read Tim's " Give Me A Fast Ship"

It's fascinating to see how the experts created a structure that would work for displaying the tent, converging history and engineering.

This should be common knowledge to any US Citizen. All kids in school should know importance of the Stamp Act & why it mattered in 1765 and why it matters today.

Even if you know what the letter is, it's dumb to have two that are so confusingly similar. I see a ligature "ct". Adobe has this in the private use area: . Looks like an embellishment to use occasionally in a quote. But I went to a website where they have every combination of "ct" like that somehow.

Great video One of my favorite American history stories is the building of the railroad, it was right after war and the country needed to keep the people busy and looking forward so on railroad came Union and Confederate soldiers along with recently free Black Americans, the Irish and the Chinese Different religion and skin tones and came together to build the railroad to really make America what it is today

This is what the tent means to me. No President was needed and loved like Washington. He never left his troops, he suffered with them. He had nothing to gain and everything to lose. He lost his only stepson at Yorktown days after Corwallis' surrender. He singlehandedly turned the hearts of his own military at Brewster who were set to march to Philadelphia against the seated government. With the war successfully prosecuted, he could have ruled but eschewed power to return home. With the states in disarray, he leaves retirement to lead the Constitutional Convention. And when it came time to choose the first executive to lead the nation, they did not tell him, you should be the president. They told him you must be the president. So he left Mount Vernon and retirement again to serve. Thank you Mr. President.

The tent housed a man who thought more about his fellow Americans than he did himself. Not too many "important people" around today feel the same way.

This video would be vastly improved if it showed a complete reproduction of a grenadier cap so as to give viewers who are not familiar with them an idea of what they look like. High quality reproduction hats are to be had with a little effort.

Benedict Arnold was an American Hero and Patriot! It was his effort that won the revolution. He was the first President that lived in the Presidents House in Philadelphia, yes I said President, before George Washington. It was Benedict Arnold that crossed the Delaware and was in Valley Forge. George Washington and Benedict Arnold have a similar appearance, it was Benedict Arnold that knelt in prayer at Valley Forge, not George Washington, Benedict Arnold was Jesus Christ, the Savior and Messiah, reincarnated, thus the smears and lies from the Freemason Lucifer worshiping faction in which George Washington belonged and was even married to a man, and his name was Martha. President Donald J. Trump is also the Savior, Jesus Christ, the Messiah reincarnated, we are living in the Kingdom of God, I have made a videos on my channel in which every one was made through the inspiration of Jesus Christ, through dreams, visions and direction from Him. I have linked one video about Benedict Arnold Below. studio.kzbin.infoiK8c7cMvSxM/edit
