Anyone who knows anything’s about what’s going on in the Ukraine actual battlefield should know by now that as a historian Snyder is a bona fide bull shit artist. He never knew anything about geopolitics or the military realities on the ground. NATO is getting wiped out and Ukraine is about to become a rump Russia vassal state. He’s no military expert, despite his assurances and predictions 😆

Human bravery and human communication from Ukrainians: go to explain this to a mother or a sister whose son or brother was kidnapped by 5 guys using force while he was in the street or supermarket or fitness club. Explain that to the ukrainian doctors that emasculated prisoners of war. Explain that to the ukrainien soldiers who shot Russian prisoners lying on the ground and disarmed. Explain that to the extremists who set fire to the house of syndicates on May 2nd 2014 in Odessa killing 50 civilians by burning them alive, including pregnant women and children. Do you think that calling those people nazi or neo nazi would be appropriate? Explain that to the victims of ukrainian torture, putting people in car alive sent to utilisation by a mechanical press; i let you imagine the level of suffering of the poor guy inside the car… How about the ethnic discriminatory laws voted on July 1st 2021 against non ukrainien speaking populations? How about the constant shelling of civilians from 2014 (up until now…) in Donetsk? Not talking about corruption at all possible levels of society, use of terrorism, no freedom of press, no rights for opposition parties and cancellation of all types of elections. What an Amazing democracy ukraine is!

The statement you made: “Tim, you need to go to the FRONT to rearrange your mind on this war..” etc., suggests to me that you are proposing for Timothy Snyder (?“Tim”) to rearrange his mind on this war. Timothy Snyder is in favour of Ukrainian people defending themselves against invasion, which has included & continues to include, on large scale: rape, torture, castration, abduction of thousands of children, mass murder, mass destruction (scorched earth warfare method). (All these things have been documented by several sources). Is that unreasonable? Perhaps I’ve completely misunderstood you, in which case I apologise. Putin, Lavrov, Surkov, Shoigu, Medvedev, Mishustin, & many other Kremlin-Kronies (& previously Wagner war machine, still benefitting very well in several places in Africa) want & need war to stay in power & probably most of them to now even stay alive. They have the support of millions of people via a combination of some or all of: nationalism, imperialism, ignorance, arrogance, misinformation, indifference, psychopathy, plain tribalism etc., etc. These reasons for war I find abhorrent &, I’m guessing you do too. Timothy Snyder is a proponent of the best/least worst outcome. He has been to Ukraine many times, given lectures in Ukrainian, Russian, German, English & other languages he speaks, reads & write in, & has met with Zelensky. Ukrainians don’t want war, it’s just tragically the least worst alternative to the other things, listed in the first paragraph, that they have endured, & are continuing to endure. Brilliant analysis on the crisis of US Democracy. We have all learnt that in a Democracy majority rules, right. Across the West we observe that Democracy has reversed basic design rules. I couldn't agree more with all this conclusions of of Timothy Snyder. Could we have him cloned for Europe please ? The US has an enormous asset in this person which makes me really jealous. Glad to hear that he has joined the Munich Security Conference, but I bet that many folks there didn't like him talk 😉 One remark I have however: We currently have 1.65 Mio Ukrainian refugees in Germany, amongst those many wealthy ones. I don't know the exact number of Ukraine refugees in Poland but I think it doubles our numbers. These 'elites' will move back to Ukraine ultimately, once the dirty job is done, those who fought, died & got wounded for lifetime will be forgotten and life starts for these non patriots refugees in full scope. A deliberate process of Global Elites and absolutely unhealthy for Ukraine's future as part of Europe ! Any thoughts on this Professor Snyder ?
