Usually, videos get compressed into blurry mush. This is impressively crisp.

The witch king threatening Gandalf the white always annoyed me. In the books he’s basically an angel and tells the which king he doesn’t stand a chance so go away. 😂

I won't speak about the book I will speak of movie To translate such book to such movie it is an achievement... Get it really restored, so others could enjoy it later is also achievement.. To shoot all 3 movies at once... about it should speak cinema's people.. I'm just a user.. Thank you for posting

Every time I watch this scene, I am left with tears in my eyes. But not tears of sadness, but of something much greater. My body fills up with adrenaline but at the same time melancholy. These films are not just films, they are almost religious to me. I wish they lasted forever, and not just 683 minutes.

As a kid watching this for the first time, I remember getting teary eyed when the horns blow and everybody turns seeing the whole Rohan army. I was so hyped I didn’t even think about the fact they were still outnumbered.

Horns. Horns of the North, wildly blowing. Rohan had come at last.

Gandalf would have stomped the witchking. That's one of the only things that bothers me.

I am ready sire! I am ready to ride together with you in this battle of Man and Evil, because there is no greater an honour in all of the world than riding with your king to Glory and to death. Aaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhh! This is what a genuinely feel. This moment transcends the screen and comes alive within me. The Greatest Trilogy ever made. Nothing will ever come close.

😂 If this came out nowadays you’d have the anti_wokists claiming it’s forced diversity with the shield maiden. Meanwhile the woke people would be crying that there are too many white people. I’m glad I got to see it back in the day, and didn’t have to deal with that obnoxious crap.

Странно, что Гендальфа показали в этом эпизоде крайне слабым и король Ангмара уничтожил его посох… а в следующей сцене он снова целый))

One thing to note when we see the orcs start to sack Gondor is that we never see any civilians get hurt. We might see the aftermath but it never gets morose enough to see some helpless non-combatant cut down.

One thing I don't like from this is Gandalf vs Angmar scene. They should at least make them equal. To see White Wizard brought to his knee so easily is so disappointing.
