His bass playing is very functional but not much of his own style. Every note sounds written out for some reason. Def a great bassist though.

I can't believe after all these years I just realized that the song is a polyrhythm made up of him playing in 3/4 and the band playing in 2/4... So... yep... 3 over a perfect 2... Jesus christ that IS a study in despair for me as a drummer trying to play this!
