Don't if the problem is the operator or the blower. At least he had his ear protection on during set up lol

These blowers aren't junk, they're meant for 10" of powdery snow or more. Honestly that snow looks wet just the way it builds up in front and gets packed. Rammy also makes a snowplow for atv's and if you have their snowblower already, you can use the same mounts for the plow. Just watched the video on it before this one.

I have learned if I wait until it cools off at night to do my snow blowing It usually blows better. Where I live it usually freezes in the evenings. That snow was sticking together like sticky rice. Post another video in different conditions 👍.

does this smoke?
@MostlyProjects17 күн бұрын
It does create smoke, but burning hotter using dry wood will burn more cleanly. If you mean as a smoker, yes, you can also do that.
@andrewgee24119 күн бұрын
The problem is that there isn't enough snow on the ground for the blower to function properly. Barely any snow was being picked up. Looked like only 2 or 3 inches of snow.

@terryburgau7792Ай бұрын
For the cost of that you could have a compact tractor and do 10x the work. Buy machinery to do work and keep the toys for play.
@MostlyProjectsАй бұрын
I have a hard time differentiating between work and play 😂 Would you believe I sold my compact tractor and bought this? Don't worry though, I upgraded my tractor to a 4044m. Check out the channel and see it on all of the latest videos. Thanks for the comment!

Not sure where the location of this video was take the unit looks to be very well built love the rpm on the auger but I would like to see a more aggressive shape on the auger to break up the snow

I’m shocked your channel doesn’t have more views - you have great content and it’s well filmed. We just moved from a city to 7 acres of mostly wooded land and seeing examples of how land/wood management is done has been helpful to us. I joked with my wife the other day that our land is run off KZbin and you’ve positively contributed to that. Thanks for putting this stuff out there!
@MostlyProjects2 ай бұрын
Thanks, I really appreciate your comment. Congrats on your 7 acres! I made a similar move and have been learning a lot along the way. YT is my go-to for just about everything now, so I am happy to give back. With more comments like this, the channel should keep growing 🤞 And don’t forget to tap the like button when you read this. Keep up the comments!

Snowblower gives you 20-50 ft of range to move it, but plow lasts much longer in the zombie apocalypse.

It's a great machine for the smaller limbs! Inspect it regularly, because my belt cover split at the bottom. Also, my entry chute started splitting around the hinges. I got it welded for a $100.

Have you had any issues with the logs taking a bad spill and landing on top of the motor? I just bought mine, and I’ve thought building a little table to cover my motor just in case. Awesome video!!
@MostlyProjects11 ай бұрын
I’ve had a few close calls. I think it would be wise to extend the back tray to cover the engine which also gives more room for working while splitting, or build a protective table as you mention. Also, make sure to check that your hydraulic connections are tight before splitting. One of mine was not and leaked in the garage. Thanks for watching and for the comment!
