@ it's been a few months since this comment (as you can see), but if I'm remembering correctly he jumped in on the dogpile when SM was getting cancelled and seriously stirred shit up for SM. It wasn’t until recently that I realized that Dr Gerald robotnik, the grandfather of Dr Eggman is supposed to be the guy classic Sonic fights in the original games. That was how they made the distinction between Dr Robotnik and Dr Eggman. Eggman is just the original guy’s grandchild
