Cool. I must make socks this year. I have a sock loom 2 and have not used it yet. My husband is a US 13 wide and wants me to knit him some socks. I wear a US 9.5 to 10 and most patterns are for smaller feet. My feet grew larger when I remarried. Lol 😮 I can't wait to see your completed project.

Love these little dolls! My subs are on private and I can't change it on my phone but that's ok ❤ just been mowing all the dandelion lawn 😂 grass is nearly completely dead. Rain has stopped again and sun is shining. 😊

They are cute little ami's, I just hope I dont butcher them lol. The public sub rule is more for those that I dont know. My dad does my lawn, he's 85 this year. I wouldnt know where the petrol went or how to start the thing lol

Hi Sam, I enjoy your chat videos, it's good to catch up with you. I will be completing my kids jumpers and my cardigan in 2025 and learn some fair isle or colour work knitting, what ever it's called. And there is some knitting lace patterns I would like to learn. My goal is to take my precious time to learn computer skills too. There is a course I will be attending so that will help me get out of the house and keep my mind active. And going for walks. There are lovely parks where I live and be nice to enjoy those. You should! I especially love that, because I al doing it as a subscribers blanket (1 new row for every 5 new subscribers) I'm not working on it every day and it is growing at a steady pace. Its the project I grab when I am trying to think of what I want to make next lol

I do like the 'after thought' heel, just makes knitting the sock that bit easier.

@ByHookorbyNeedles I call it the "after thought" heel but apparently I was told it's really the "forethought heel" lol anyway I put waste yarn in and then knit the heel before the toe cos I try it on to measure.

Very interesting indeed! I have always found Stephens designs a bit "out there", which I dont mind, they are at least not boring to knit lol. But I have always been intimidated by his sock patterns. Well... my new years goal is to make a pair of socks a month and how better to make it a real challenge than to use Stephens designs... I'm going to need to draw on all my abilities and with some luck I might be ok lol

Small world. I got my sock yarn club yesterday too! It was early and I’m considering the west sock club. Your yarn looks lovely. The purple and green in it reminds me of rather impressive bruises! But, I like it ❤

yeah, mine was early too, clearly they wanted us to get it before xmas, lol. I love the yarn from this club, its so soft and usually very high quality... either silk or cashmere blend. The west sock club looks interesting. I think I will enjoy it. 💜💜
