why only quote 4 of the bradford hill rules? when there are 9 of them? By the way your discription of confounding is only partly right. A and B can be confounded as well and this cannot be removed from the data set...

Do you think autism, resourcing to autistics and caregivers is an area of concern in public health? a few key areas i see is 1.) inequity across communities and insurance plans, 2.) housing and employment for adult autistic populations and 3.) looking at mental health resources for caregivers

OMG, WHERE were you 25yrs ago when I couldn't grasp this in med school?! Oh right, no KZbin then. 🤣🤣🤣 But seriously though, this really helps me & understand journal articles much better. I'm a visual learner & need the simplified version 1st then build upon that knowledge later. Thank you so much.

Bless you Greg Martin for teaching me stats the night before a deadline. May your pockets never be empty, and your heart always full. May your days be bright and your nights be peaceful. May your steps be steady and your spirit be strong. May your body be resilient and your mind at ease. May your home be filled with laughter and your life with love. May your heart know no sorrow and your smile never fade.

Quantitative and qualitative research methods are the two most popular for management purposes. Usually a mix of the two are used, however qualitative methods are often the most effective for the purposes of researching the more subjective aspects of human behaviour for example.

Moral distance is based on the new paradigm of "everyone is interdependent". You graduate in life from dependence ... to independence .... to interdependence. The problem with interdependence is that it was supposed to be an upgrade but it has turned out to be a downgrade (when multiple players are in fact seeking a parasitic dependence model).

I’m working towards my bachelors in science - Public Health, and would like to further my education to get my masters in either epidemiology or environmental science but would like to work in the public health field first to see if it is a good fit. People keep telling me I won’t be able to get a job because I have no clinical background. Do you find this true? Is it possible to get a public health job with a bachelors degree?
@gregmartin
@gregmartin 17 күн бұрын
Hi there - thanks for the question. You don't need a clinical background to work in public health. A masters in epidemiology or environmental health is an excellent launch pad into a career in public health. :)
