I’m working towards my bachelors in science - Public Health, and would like to further my education to get my masters in either epidemiology or environmental science but would like to work in the public health field first to see if it is a good fit. People keep telling me I won’t be able to get a job because I have no clinical background. Do you find this true? Is it possible to get a public health job with a bachelors degree?

Hi, here after the election of trump and wanting to learn data science. I will be checking your research site before my country's data is no longer available to me lol... I wish I was joking but I do think data might not be available for much longer.

Statistics made easy. You're doing an amazing job. Kudos😊
Watching just this one video from you and I am hooked. There are very few instructors who have your skills. I also love the courses you have on your website. I am especially interested in R and compare to Python. Also, I am recommending you to my daughter who is working on her Master's degree. This video has been a game changer.

I appreciate your videos Dr. Martin. I have followed you for about 10 years to break into Global Health. Had no idea what that even meant. I now work as a Global Health Project Coordinator after working various administrative jobs. There is definitely a misconception that working local doesn't mean you wont work in Global Health. I started locally and now iam working with different countries to improve healthcare. So keep up the videos, always great to learn about this amazing field.

When I research something I'll look at all empirical data and then look at all the data offered by A LOT of different sources and each step of the way I'll ask questions. And then quite often those questions require me to go back and reexamine what I've already sifted through. Only this time, armed with better questions, more objectivity, and i question their findings. I'll then go to other sources and do the same thing over. And then I'll look at the opposition's viewpoints and try to get a feel for why they think like they do. And then I'll look for more objective sources. And then I'll ask new questions. I don't take getting to the bottom of anything very lightly and I've learned over the years to just wait..it's usually not what it appears on face value, don't throw out objectivity, and ask better questions. I remember when I looked at the FBI collection of data on DB Cooper(was available online but I don't keep tabs on them so it might no longer be available) and I sifted through their findings for probably a couple weeks. My gut instinct ended up being i didn't believe (and still don't because I tabled it) he survived the cold icy jump with the gear he had and the money found only reinforced my feeling. But I don't examine something one time and then allow my subjective feelings to overshadow other more reliable evidence. This morning while reading some economic data of some products it lead me to do a search on something...a guy was sure 3 solid, premium brands of oils, all were bad choices for everyone because the engine he tested them in burned X quantity of all 3 of them by 1500 miles rather than thinking maybe there's something going on internally with his engine. Stuck rings from lack of maintenance can make a lot of good oils appear bad choices. But from reading these forums looking for real data i run onto a lot of squirrels who aren't competent to make analysis for everyone. For some reason people tend to use their perception and conflate the rest of the data. I rarely trust people's opinions any longer until I can check their data first.

People have too many problems and too many additional disorders, anxiety disorders, and they should be limited. The Jews will still be very evil in 1000 years. May the good Lord solve LGBT problems, but the anxious one sees it differently. Russia's leaders are still afraid and many people have to die again, including their own, the list could go on and on... We have fear, it is natural, but if we limit ourselves, anxiety problems are too big and should be limited. Which are harmful to us and others (?) E009
