If you all love Willie like I do, you would really enjoy reading his books. Fascinating, down to earth honest American story of a really epic man and musician Music will live forever and ever and ever 🎶🎶🎶

Grew up in Texas in the early 80's. Boy I'll tell ya. That's where the real folks are. Heading back soon for good.

And now he's gone....but NEVER forgotten. It sounds cliche, but the world just feels a little less 'privileged' tonight. Like we were blessed for the better part of a century by enjoying the talents of such a remarkable man who was so willing to share those gifts with us. I feel like I have lost a major source of joy. Even though he hadn't been really active for the world to see, in recent years, I had a sense of joy in knowing he was reaping the rewards of a hard earned life of talent. I'm grateful to his family for sharing him with us and my thoughts go out to you with felt condolences. A giant as big as him doesn't just drift away and not leave a big gaping hole. May love, comfort, peace and precious memories sustain you and take comfort in the fact that many of us envied your privilege of sharing life with him.

I'm really sad that I never had the chance to listen to and watch this man live, only on KZbin, because I'm not from the USA. And I'm saddest knowing that I will never have the chance to do that because of his age and my current location. But the only thing I can say is thank you, Willie, for all the beautiful songs you've sung. They bring joy, happiness, and a little sadness to my heart, and they always will as long as I am alive.
