I was literally just watching one of your other videos because I've never done waxing before and I'm really wanting to get into it.. I was curious if you could use silicone to practice on and looked up a video on it and bam, here you are just amazing as you were in the last video! By the way, the video you did where you drew the fake vaginas was not stupid, it was an amazingly well planned out video and thank you because as somebody who is terrified of the idea of waxing, it is truly encouraging to see somebody who is so knowledgeable about what they're teaching...

I would put some kind of cover on the jar after you're done. This will make sure no dust or dirt falls into the jar when you're not using it.

Some hairs are stubborn so if they don't come out with the first strip, laying the strip in the opposite direction of the hair growth can work.

I just got a Brazilian wax today and the waxer used an entire wax strip on one side and it was super painful. I’ve gotten wax before and they usually do it in sections. I’m not sure why she did a whole section at once =\

Please help me. What kind of wax do you use in your demos, being able to spread it and create a lip? I try with Kolua wax for coarse hair (the blue beads) and I spread it and by i get to the end it's already hard. Can't make a lip or anything. I tried different temps, burned my chest today trying with a hotter temp, still the same problem. It's like I'm waxing a frozen corpse! Yours is like you're using molasses! Please help.

this seems easy but when i did this on my friend it was so hard she couldn’t do the butterfly and she kept pushing her legs straight out … took me 2 hours almost 3 to wax her cause it hurt her and it was her first time. Also just a fyi ive been waxing for two months now im currently in school for esthetician and im very going towards waxing

Never focus on temperature since it will vary greatly for every person. Instead, focus on the consistency of the wax! We have multiple videos that help with this. :)

Hello Kirsten Thank you 😊 I'm a Esthetician and just started using hard wax .I do take all of your Advice and know that the temperature of the room and the consistency are the key factors the room was not to cold or hot .just at room temperature.. i had the right consistency but the wax would harden after a minute then I would turn 1:02 it up a little then the wax would become to hot....this continued, very frustrating. I use the equipro warmer and cirepil by perron-Rigot wax. Not sure why this is happening. I turned on the AC( very little ) nothing changed . I do like using this type of wax rather then strip wax. If you can help me out that would be great , .from Canada

Hi! Not OP, but a fellow waxer here! The short answer is: you don’t - you use it up until it’s empty, then you can add a new type! I’m assuming that you’re talking about wanting to switch to a different kind of wax when you still have some leftover. You kind of need multiple wax pots if you want to use different kinds of waxes. If your wax gets contaminated, you need to dispose of all of it. You can’t just scoop out the contaminated area, it’s all gotta go! Get your wax really warm and pour it out! Scrape the sides down with a wax stick, and then clean the inside with rubbing alcohol. Then, you can add new wax. Hope this helps!

Hello! In additional to what @misssagacious said, if you want to change waxes and haven't used all the current wax yet, you can pour the leftover wax into a silicone mould. This way you can save it for later and no wax is lost. :)
