Do you have to do this perfectly? I have the pills but I haven't been able to replace stuff like toothpaste. I just want to feel better 😢

Yes. If you do not follow it completely it will not work. I recommend reading the book as it helps explain a lot. For toothpaste I recommend Tom’s of Maine silly strawberry.

thank you for all your updates and sharing your story with the internet! my girlfriend (21) is contemplating guaifenesin and we are exploring all the resources and information available. it's been so great to hear your experiences and stories as someone who is also young and still physically and mentally growing. we are working through St Amand's book and the protocol prep, but taking things slow since my girlfriend can often be a hypochondriac when trying new things and her fibro symptoms are a sensitive subject. if you don't mind sharing, what dosage are you taking? how bad were the first few weeks/months of reversal pain? how did you know when you reached your first set of "good days" on the treatment? how often do you have reversal cycles now that you have been on the protocol for so long? and is there any other information someone just getting started should know about the pain and pain cycles, etc? thank you so much for any and all information <33 have a great day!

Hi! Everyone reacts differently but I am a low dose so I take 300 mg. I would recommend joining the Facebook group because it’s really amazing to have support and hear a bunch of other peoples stories. It can be scary to start, especially when medical things are scary which I 100% understand. Wishing the both of you healing thoughts with your journey!

Would you say the guai protocol is working? And do you know how much salicylate is allowed and how long it stays in ur body to block the guai? Thank you
@liliaslens
@liliaslens 2 жыл бұрын
The protocol is definitely working. I wasn’t really able to function at all before. You can’t really have any salicylates. The website www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com really has more info. It blocks for 24 hours after you take or apply something that would block.

@@liliaslens thank you. For hand soaps and hand sanitizers, do I need to get salicylate free products for them too?
@liliaslens
@liliaslens 2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Anything that goes on your skin. If it’s just once and awhile at a restaurant or something like that it’s ok but not everyday use. Read the website at least and the book if you can because it really helps. If you don’t follow it correctly it doesn’t work so being careful about products is important.

@@liliaslens ty so much. I’m a nurse so only thing I can’t control is hand soap and sanitizers at work bc I constantly have to use them… bad news for me. I’ve read the book already and it was good. May I ask u what product of hand soap and toothpaste u use at home? Sorry for asking so many questions :(
@liliaslens

@@bryankang3286 Hand soap and sanitizer at work can be hard. If you can carrying your own is useful or if you use the same bathroom keeping some in there. I use an olay one from target that is orange blossom scent or some of the softsoap brands for hand soap. For toothpaste I use toms of maine strawberry.

Hi Lilia. I love your videos. You have such a positive attitude about life, and it is truly refreshing. I've been watching your videos for a few years, and I notice that you speak alot about your fibro flaring up during periods of heightened stress. Do you think that, even through the stress, you are still much better now than prior to gaui? I am wondering because I am in my twenties and I am in a stressful job (teaching). I know it is anecdotal, but I'd love to hear what you think :)
@liliaslens
@liliaslens 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Simone! My flare ups from stress don’t even compare to how I felt before guai. I was bedridden before and now when I get a flare up from stress my body will just be a little achy, I’m more fatigued, my brain gets a little foggy, and I sometimes get a migraine. Even these things I can make less intense with things like yoga, walks, meditation, or just taking a bit to relax. Being a teacher is stressful (my mom in one) and having ways to help manage the stress also then tends to help fibro symptoms, for me at least, be less intense or flare up less.

That’s the thing, once clearing the symptoms and feeling better, we do more and get too busy. And our thoughts are that we want to spread the hope of the guaifenesin protocol for fibromyalgia. Thanks for sharing your update, and blessings on your new adventure.

Androidcel Perú I’m doing well thank you. The protocol has helped me a lot. I wasn’t able to get out of bed and now I’m able to actually go to school and live my life. Just make sure you are following it correctly per the website www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com to make sure it works. It takes time, but it’s all worth it.

Julia Fuhrmann I totally recommend it! About 6 years ago I couldn’t even get off the couch and now I was actually able to graduate high school and go to college full time and work. It definitely works if you do it correctly. You should check out the website www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com for more info about it.

@@juliafuhrmann2506 I don't see that it would hurt to try. The only thing is that some of the bumps might go away. If you are anywhere near the LA area I recommend going to see Dr. St Amand because he can diagnose you.

Hi! Have you read the book? Everyone is different in what dose they take. I take 600 2x a day while others take a lot more or less. You should start out at 300 2x a day for about a week and see if your symptoms get worse if not bump up to 600 2x a day and keep going to you start to feel worse. Are you keeping a symptom journal? This helped me find my clearing dose. Hope this helped!
