I enjoyed the forum Wednesday night. Drug and alcohol abuse was brought up with homelessness. We can't assume they're all dealing with those things, and for those who are, perhaps the drug or alcohol abuse came after/because of the homelessness rather than having caused their homelessness.

Just as your colleagues report. There is no mention of advocating for Veterans, Seniors of not raising our existing taxes to support the transition of this new government...Most of the homeowners in my silver creek subdivision are seniors..

During your speech, you said that you are running for District 3 not 2, but you are on the ballot for District 2. There no mention of of being an advocate for seniors or the Veterans of whom you served with. no mention overseeing increase in taxes that we are all afraid of since being annexed to Mableton from Austell. All of you seem only to be concerned with business.

Yes, trash. Maybe there is alot of trash because we have to buy trash service on our own. It is different especially for those of us transplants who grew up in towns that provided trash service. Especially since 2020, it appears, by the different types of trucks and the number of or lack of driver helpers, that our trash service company has gone through alot of things, but they still always show up.

Right. My husband volunteered with the homeless in Atlanta for many years. Some prefer homelessness and had/have their "home" in certain outdoor spots for years.

While we're at it, Mableton folks, why is the Cobb Commission allowing developers to clear cut acres and acres of trees to put up more cookie cutter housing that I seriously doubt will be "affordable." While we've needed development in Mableton for some time, this isn't the way to do it. This is about to be a problem in the area of Floyd Road and the E-W connector. More housing will mean more traffic. How long did it take to fix the intersection of Mableton Parkway and US 78? Or the Hicks Road/Concord Road intersection? Factory Shoals, where a developer wants to put up a multi-unit development, is already a race track between two elementary schools. If we don't slow this development down a notch, we're going to have a traffic nightmare that will take years to work through. Look around? Is this what you want for Mableton?
