@@piperpepper6601 I don’t know about your community but here in Chicago, they are behind the funding of after school matters program which employs thousands of African American teens. They also have a hand in organizing the bud billiken parade every year. Also they donated money and supplies to us for school drives. Now how come we don’t talk about the drug dealers and killers who don’t help their community? The masons here help brothers. I never been shot my a mason but I’ve been shot by gang members minding by business. Make that make sense

Of course you do. There are Freemasons and a Grand Lodge of South Africa. You just have to look for it. They are in most countries around the world.

Here In Canada they don't have the all the music and dancing and is more somber. Member numbers are decreasing and it's too bad because they instill values and do good work. Peace.

The biggest misconception is mistaking freemasonry and shriners as a religion. They are fraternal orders like the Greek system in universities. Some churches are constantly dragging them out of sheer ignorance. Most of these people are church going people.
