I don’t think they glossed over anything. Even though Phoebe lost a child she still mourned and grieved and hoped for the child in future seasons. Even though, in my opinion, the series went downhill after this season the theme of “loss” never went away. Even Prue’s death was brought up every season until the finale. With Phoebe especially. Her losing Cole, the baby, she given up on love entirely which caused her to lose her powers so in a sense her loss never really went away.

I can’t believe they just glossed over her fertility issues. That would have been a cool subplot. Real issues families face. And they glossed over the loss of Phoebe’s child. It was still a part of her.

Phoebe wasn’t that devastated to lose the baby. She knew it wasn’t hers - it was the sources. And I think it was supposed to be reassuring to Phoebe as well.

@@dmf1301 Yeah but she still went through hell carrying the baby. I'm also biased because I wanted it to be Phoebe and Cole, but I know Julian had some sort of scheduling issue.

Technically speaking, their children wouldn't have to be stronger than them at all, since the prophecy doesn't imply anything of the sort. On the contrary, since Paige married a mortal, their (*Paige and Henry's) children should actually be magically weaker than any of the Charmed Ones. The only reason their children happened to be that strong is because the series decided to jump the shark with Wyatt's ridiculuously OP magic powers.

That’s on full display in the finale . When she doesn’t even bother to check to see if Paige is alive after Phoebe dies. I’m team Prue so not a big Paige fan but i still found that cold

Rose could not be in the finale for that scene. And she did go to find Paige, when she thought she heard her. But it was Billie. And are we going to forget the fact that Piper names her son Wyatt Matthew Halliwell after Paige. And Piper went looking for Sam to help Paige. Also, encouraged Paige in 8x07, when Sam was taken by the photographer. She encouraged Paige to embrace the love she had for Sam. Piper loved both her sisters.

Yep. Holly was fantastic. Alyssa and Rose (and Shannen before) were all wonderful, but Piper was the central character the whole way through. Even her own mother told her on her wedding day that she was ‘the heart of the family.’ 😊

I would prefer if she would born that child. I mean it could be very powerful - born from a Charmed One and the Source. Also it would make an interesting strungle for him/her to stay good. And it would make more sense that doing those arcs with Wayatt.

It was not her child. The child was created by the seer. It was never her child. Phoebe herself stated this in an episode
