Paul was 44 the year John Coffey walked the Green Mile (1935) which means he was born in 1891. So, in 1999 Paul was 108 and Mr Jingles was 64 or 65 years old. A pet mouse in captivity has an average life expectancy of about 4-5 years... makes you wonder how long Paul will live, eh?! Several hundred years probably. And his penance is to lose everyone he loves, to outlive them all.

I love that Melinda gave John the medallion after he healed her. St. Christopher is a patron saint... he offered protection to travelers against death on a journey. Many churches placed images or statues of him, usually opposite the south door, so he could be easily seen. He is usually depicted as a giant, with a child on his shoulder and a sheperd's staff in one hand, leading the lambs to the light... fits John Coffey.

Think about this: An ordinary man named Paul is telling the story of a miracle man with the initials JC. JC is an empath, a seer, a healer and a teacher, who gave so many on Earth the gift of love and LIFE and then suffers his own death for the sins of others, that he may live in Heaven for eternity. Sound familiar?

You got a lot of stuff wrong. The creature wasn't carrying her mother on her bag, it was digesting her. The creatures were not fire breathing either, they were on fire when they travelled in a wheel shape.
