I'm in between: i'm not against but no for polyester. For jackets / outerwear, polyester blend or sometimes even full polyester can be great. But IMO for layers that are in direct contact with your skin (t shirt, dress shirt, and pants), the manner that polyester drape is awful for men. It's way too revealing and form fitting compared to 100% cotton. Compare uniqlo airism tees with 100 cotton uniqlo tee the drape is completely different. Same goes for pant, synthetic material pants are the best women because it fits the silouhette and curvier figure so well. For men tho, i've bought a few 100% synthetic for men and their drape is just awful on men. In the end, for first layer clothes (tees pants etc) when there's too much polyester it drapes awfully for men but beautifully for women. For sports use tho, they're the absolute best because they dry quickly, can handle more stress and not break as easily as natural fibers.

Just the review I was looking for. I've been waiting months to see a channel review Josepht shoes. Would love to see a review of another sneaker they offer, which is I think their more "premium" and dressier GAT, the Jacob. The upper's an oiled leather which I think is very practical for an everyday shoe, but I have yet to see a review that looks at its fit and comfort. Great review! You've earned a sub. Looking forward to more shoe reviews!

The thing I always do is when I hang dry my button ups. I pull on them so they look less wrinkley, I fully button them up and in doing so I correct the collar while its wet. This usually leads to a pretty good look. Obviously not wrinkle free but enough where you wouldn't get laughed at. This works really well on my linen blends too.

What are the pants at 4:58? The blue ones. When it comes to shoes like these, Skolyx is a swedish company that works with a small factory in Spain. Their loafers are really good. I have two pairs.

The best one for tropical weather is the Dry-Ex Light model 341 467544 or 12344N142C (made of finer 100% polyester thread - no trace of nylon - than the standard Dry-Ex line-up). Since they are a bit translucent and others can see thru the fabric, better to size up and not wear tightly. Best in light color such as light grey. Aerism is disastrous for very humid weather.

Very indepth review. Quite suprised. Well done and big up yourself. Thank you so much. i will say, the leather doesn't look too supple? Don't see much grain, and when you do the crease test it almost looks like the leather is plasticy?
@subtlesartorialist
@subtlesartorialist Ай бұрын
Thanks! Hard to say how supple it is due to the lining which gives some structure, but definitely flexible enough for daily wear. The coating doesn't feel too plasticky, at least compared to typical Nike/Adidas sneakers
