@@robertlarry8196 no codes, you will know if starter is bad if it does not turn the engine over. Solenoid bad if there is no power. GL

@robertlarry8196 check your batteries and terminals first if they good check fuse on firewall, still no start you may have to change your starter.

I think its the buzzer that needs to be replaced. When I have no seatbelt it makes no sound and when I have low air it also makes no sound

Awesome video. Some Freightliner trucks have power and negative on the front of the starter. You can use those too. Mine has the solenoid way in the back and impossible to reach. Don't crank too long or whatever you're using might get welded to the starter and it will keep cranking until you get the tool off the starter

Great video. I have experiencing the same problems with my 12 Freightliner. All three lights pop up at the same time. Check engine. M IL and STOP light comes on. Not sure what the issue is. Read the codes. Three mechanics and no one knows how to fix it just throwing parts at it. Not sure after replacing parts like the dozer injector and dpf filter cleaning I would have to Regen the truck w a scanner or laptop w Detroit software. Do u know. Also been looking into otr performance scanner probably better than harbor freight but it has saved me a lot from being stuck.

OTR Tool should have reset the system, but it depends on the type of codes you are getting. Also, you may need Freightliner software to correct it. GL

Its not oil its fluid - The transmission fluid in a dd12 auto should last the life of the clutch - Changing out the fluid with an old clutch can be disastrous two weeks later - Old clutches wear thin - Old transmission fluid is thicker then new fluid - The uneducated truck owner who changed out the old fluid for new with an old clutch winds up on the back of a wrecker when they least expect it as the old clutch starts slipping - This vid was not what i was looking for but thought to mention it - Be smart be safe and 2024 will lead to better days
