The big problem with a pro Soviet movie like this is that the rotten Soviets were absolutely no better than the rotten Nazis and are never to be believed as heroes. Communist = National Socialist = evil.All the bad guys are bad.. And there are hardly any good guys. The Soviet commies are wicked and a bunch of people are just too dumb to know good from evil. The situation here is completely disheartening.

going by the title, is this a re-make of the Martin Scorsese film "The Departed", which itself was a remake of the HongKong movie of that title?? Just like the Russian remake of "Twelve Angry Men", it would be nice to see that script filtered thru Russian sensibilties.

Love Russian movies re WW2. We get to see the their history of events and not the brainwashed written historical version of the so called victors who Hollywood glamorised as heroes
