So how would you write on that paper with all the inclusion
@arnoldgrummerpaper Жыл бұрын
Some handmade papers are used as art for cards, collage and mixed media. You're correct, though. If your paper is meant for writing or stamping, inclusions might not be the way to go.

Dear Mr. Grummer, I'm amazed by your videos and find it very helpful and instructive. Now I would like to ask you, where can I purchase that screenmaterial. (I want to make deckle and frame by myself, instead of buying such a perfect crafted tool/papermaking kit) I thought I heard you say it's a meterial that is used on industrial papermachines. Can you give me a hint, where one can purchase it?
@MissElaineous2472 жыл бұрын
Window screen material similar to the one used by Mr Grummer is widely available at any big box store

Talking about bending wire, good craft stores have different thicknesses and possibly hardnesses - and wire jigs to twist them around instead of needing nails in a board. Here's a KZbin example (from a jewelry-making catalog company): m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWOrhXZoZcZ6oK8

How is it going? I plan on paper making myself
@FreeBird7443 жыл бұрын
Hi, it a easy process. Once you have blended your pulp, you then add your sunflower seeds and allow the pulp to air dry to complete the papermaking process. Don't iron, as this will cause your seeds to be sterile! I did this as a library program with teenagers and it was a hit. Depending on where you are in the US, btw March-May is the ideal time to plant the sunflower paper. Good Luck!
