The black candle holder - you could cut off the nails to hold regular candles so you can use battery candles. I’ve done this with a similar candle holder.

I’ve taken off the little nub on several of my candle holders. I did this years ago and I used my needle nose pliers to do it. After filed it down as best as I could. Take care.❤

Thank you for this awesome haul! We have the pizza oven and love it. We had a Memorial Day make your own pizza party for Memorial Day and it was a huge hit. I made the crusts and put out every topping you could possibly think of and it was so fun. The kids were enjoying the pool, the adults were on the deck and patio. I had a charcuterie board, shrimp, chips etc. to nibble on while waiting and it was so much fun. A change up from the traditional BBQ. ❤🍕

What a brilliant idea in a small space to use a bench for the coffee table! It looks cozy in there, just waiting on a few last touches. Are you keeping the home for vacations or are you flipping it? If you are flipping, are you hoping to sale it furnished? I have been off the chart watching you learn and push your self refurbishing this house into a home.

I like what you've done so far. Some areas though I think your over thinking it. And it's comfortable looking. I can't wait to see the end result I hope that you plan on a house tour. Not so crazy about the sofa but I do like the bench /coffee table. I think I have to see part 2 of this living room. To see it all gel together. I like almost all of your videos and how you bring it all together. great job so far.

Emily, I think your over thinking this whole thing. It's one thing to stage it for resale if you were going to live there then I'd do what your do normally. Don't add more work than you have to. The brick wallpaper looks good and hides what you wanted to hide. Leave it alone. people are going to come into your fixer upper and change things to their liking. And don't put more money into than you can recover.

everything is beautiful....but I think a large vintage rug would ground everything and really bring in the cottage vibe.

Hi Emily, nice video! You mentioned a wall treatment for that living room . I saw a wall treatment done on another KZbin channel and thought it was unique. When they were doing the intro I first thought it was wallpaper.. it wasn’t .. they used wall stencil . And painted the wall using the stencil It came out beautiful! And if it happens you do not like it.. easy enough , just paint over it. Have you heard of wall stencil? Just thought I would pass it along .. have a good week. ❤
