Tom Walkinshaw’s protest should not have been allowed , as he was entered as a driver only - NOT a team entrant ( Larry Perkins) .

It was 1986. I was 10. I lived directly across the road from the Parramatta Leagues Club, and in turn across the road from the newly rebuilt Parramatta stadium. That year I became an avid Eels fan. I had the uniform, the bed set, the flags and attended all home games. Peter Stirling with his chip and chase was my idol. My Dad (who hated football), took me to the final. We watched the closest final in history (from memory). The eels victorious. That night, the celebrations happened out the front of my house - O’Connell Street was closed off and the players came out to enjoy the moment with their fans. I had my jersey signed by all of the players (I still have it). I never followed the game after 1986. That was my year.

The Jaguars had Cosworth high lift valves - which helped with 40-50hp & better engine endurance.

What a nostalgia of this type of tri-series..level of cricket remained always high-class in Australia..later on, more tri-series were also established but now a days, this is not happening..very sad!!

An amazing race which had all Australians supporting Cathy Freeman who gave everything to win. Years later when she asked Australians to back the Voice, millions turned their backs to support bigotry and division instead. Cathy Freeman always stayed out of politics and support for the Voice was the only thing she ever advocated. Sad that Australians were not wise or generous enough to vote Yes.

Looking at these games, it seems that cricket is a gentleman's game, there was no swagger. When India started interfering in this game of politeness, it turned into rudeness and rudeness.

I reckon now on ch.9 and fox sport most commentators and presenters lack the passion for rugby leauge. They just talk boring . Hollywood and zorba, frank hyde and the great rex mossop were just awsome.

Digitally timed at 10:59. Considering the elements - he slowed down near the line, they were in rugby kits, awful conditions, crap start, no training etc, 10:59 is pretty impressive. Albert looks like he's strolling compared to the others, imagine if he had had a bit of training and the right conditions? I reckon he could go close to 10 flat.

This is epic, my father was a character in the racing fraternity from the late 40's to mid 80's when he passed. I watched many of these horses & jockeys, racing was a large part of my life. My grandfather was head of the Western Suburbs bookmakers assc in Sydney. Was privileged to know many trainers, bookies, riders & colourful punters. Thank you
