I dont even have this Albert App on my phone, much less willing to download an app that might charge me MORE and again, on top of what Im being charged for, just to "cancel" this. There should be a class-action lawsuit in existence for this if it was unauthorized.

Empower transferred $50 from my business checking account to my personal checking account (and called it a "cash advance"). Then, 1 week later, they charged my business account for the initial $50. Im currently trying to get my money back because thats not a cash advance, thats fraud. The subscription is $8/month and theres an optional tip. Even by the user agreement for the cash advance feature of Empower, what they did isn't considered a cash advance. I spoke with my personal bank and they agreed that the funds transferred into my personal account were from my business account and not from Empower.

I’m in Michigan, I’ve worked up to a $725 borrow limit, and one day I paid it off a few days before it was so and now it tells me borrow unavailable at the moment

I also went ahead and paused automatic Savings for you to prevent any automatic transfers into Albert.

Does anyone know if the credit builder is a scam I signed up and stuff.. now I’m scared that something will go wrong and they’re linked to my account to and I’ve heard be ppl say they take extra money out or stop ur account. But just like a lot of ppl I skimmed through to contract so maybe I should’ve read it 😢

But it’s trying to take money when I never heard of this app and didn’t subscribe to it

This is by far the worst of the worst of the cash advanced apps. You don’t have to pay the advance back thankfully cause they force you to shop on their stupid store

they also never stop taking your money even when you cancel. they have been stealing my money for years now

Albert is a 1 out of 10. The application is frustratingly made to benefit Albert! Everything takes a day or two.

Dave is taking your money that you owe… I remember DailyPay’s biggest complaint was people getting e.g. $200 instead of $1200 checks… i guess people didn’t understand that having access to your wages everyday means that much is going to be missing from your check.

I have had the borrow feature for at least the last year. I have awful credit so I don’t think it has anything to do with that. I started with 25 or 50, it got lessened to 25 again and then I was able to get it up to $75 but this last loan I was late so now my borrow limit is 25 again. Cash app does not report to the credit bureaus either

Empower app no longer give cash advances to Md residents. I tried to get a Cash advance , they told me that is that true?

Great video just a heads up, Cleo only does cash advances for certain states. In my state,Maryland, they don't allow cash advances.

People calling this company a scam are wild... the company just added 2mil new customers in the past 3 months, this company is worth half a billion$ and its a us company that partners with a us bank

They want you to use pretty much all your advance to buy items at their partner online stores .(what if someone need gas lol this not a good app it’s not straight forward and has stipulations people don’t want advanced for the lender to tell you how to spend the funds . Hopefully they do better .

11.50 tip on a 75 dollar advance I got on top of their fee if any part of this is a scam its that. No clear way how to change this tip amount either...
