He always marched to the beat of his own drum. And such a great voice. The formula for greatness.

Some of his moves and tones in his voice reminds me a bit of Elvis Presley. I was a freshman in college in 1984, and it was one of the best times in music. There were so many bands from Queen to heavy metal and new age. It was awesome. Only regret was not going to many concerts. Nowadays, music is crap with hip hop and rap.

Saw @billyidol May 1984 in Mobile AL on senior trip. Kids today will never know real live music. Raw, Loud and not recorded tracks. Such a bummer.
