I remember watching that interview back then and loving everything Jen had to say. I still really appreciate what she said at that point about Emma's view on Hook, how he kept surprising her in a positive way. They had a connection from the get go but Neverland really deepened it.

I love what Jen said back then about Emma and Hook being kindred spirits and how they saw elements of themselves of each other. It was very easy to feel that connection from the beanstalk episode onwards.

I hated than in the last 2 seasons, Emily gained so much weight, and the chemistry was gone. They rarely kissed, they barely touched. Unlike seasons 6-9 they were all over each other. Shame. Brennan deserved a little more from Emily.

I felt that, too. The chemistry really disappeared. I thought maybe it was because she got married and had a baby in real life. It made me hate it when shows drag the endgame couple for too long cause they also get too old. It was a bit weird. Im glad it ended when it did. Cause their chemistry really wasn't the same anymore.
