I played music off and on with Tom back in '68-'70, then lost touch as we both got on with your lives. Sorry to hear he has passed away.

Great playing! I cringe at the bassist's posture.

Instead of commenting on the killer playing on that stage, you focus on that? You’re one on those bent wrist, bass around the chest, 5 string kinda fellas, ain’t ya?! 😉👍

Kim is exemplary in every way! Anyone who wants to hear how a Blues harp should be in the sound mix needs to hear this. This should be required listening for every sound man, or band member, who thinks the harp is too loud!

As a Blues piano player with fifty years plus playing in bands, I sure would appreciate a mention of who the hell is playing keys on this wonderful take? And maybe the drummer too. It's a five piece electric Blues band, just the way Muddy designed it to be.

Paul died in September 2022. There was a memorial at Tio Leo’s this past weekend. All of the folks who lived those long ago nights at the Wind were there . KBB was represented by Eric, Johnny, Don, Marcus and Gene. Many of his friends back to La Jolla music were there. Lots of other of his music orbit😅came. Even though decades have passed since we were all together living the blues it was great. Would have been better ifken and Cowie had been by here too. They are missed and won’t be forgotten for their fat tones and soulfulness.

Mike used to live with me in the 70's and in those days it was obvious to me and many others he was a prodigy ...he would go without food in order to get ahead of the curve with gadgets and gizmos for his instrument..true determination and a big heart..

I saw the T Birds in clubs back in the eighties, and I always liked Wilson's harp playing, but he's on another level at this point. He is truly one of the greats.

And they are still happening today- I am horrified that our generation did not feel the rage at such injustice. I was in 8th grade & screamed & cried at the newsreels of armed militia with dogs, hoses, guns & bully sticks running down a group of people standing up for their Rights as given by our constitution. For years I thought we became more civilized but when trumpers & militia are still so full of Hate, I feel we have sunk deeper into Neanderthals Will we never Evolve? Republicans are still fighting for suppression of the Black vote. I pray Biden & Harris will build a road to Equality in the next 4 years. God forgive us if we don't pay attention & wake up our consciences'.

Ken and Paul on the red car: jezzzz, listening to Ken sing and play harp...kinda stop time for me. my cousin Paul Jeffery played drums for ken’s band Kingbiscut Blues Band decades back in San Diego, California. when they were hoppin’ and jivin,’ I never heard a better blues band. I remember Ken and Paul would argue about the music sometimes. when Paul was mad he’d call Ken...”harp face”...too funny, the memories this music brought up
