I’d be fine if they did the spin-off. Those writers just need to stay away from the trilogy characters

@@kirablack4575 One of the show’s writers’ went on social media answer things about the show and rant for a bit. This writer made sure to be sure to be detailed and respectful to all the crows, their stories, their backstories, etc. Then revealed that a Demon in the Wood episode had been made, but it was basically done to spit on the fan’s even more. Someone had pointed out how could a DitW be made when s2 had the very Un-canon scene of Baghra’s fingers being cut (this goes against the books and s1 magical system btw) and it was pointed out that making Aleksander do that in s2 invalidated all of DitW and made a mockery of his trauma. The writer said that was the point. They literally hate half the fandom. PS: this is the writer who had to be called out by a well-known publication for being extremely unprofessional in another incident on social media as well - and take a wild guess on which side of the fandom they were unprofessional about…

@@ullamorozova Oh i bet it's the same writer that saw a fan asking questions about Alina, mind you just it was just about alina, and checked the fan's bio to see they were a minor, neurodivergent, and a darklina so the wrter decided to bully and harass them. Super unprofessional. That writer hates Alina they only care about the Crows and Mal

@@ullamorozova Ah, I understand. In any case, it's good that they couldn't show the events of the Demon in the Woods (less chance of them spoiling it.) I generally don't see the point in trusting the backstory (besides, a very important one) to the screenwriter, who treats the character with bias and seemingly hatred. This author is unlikely to be able to show the character really correctly.
